Adults often ignore the strange claims made by children, assuming they are just part of their silly imagination with no real meaning behind them. That's exactly what Instagram user TK Maye (@tk.maye) thought when her 3-year-old son said that his imaginary friend from Omaha had predicted her pregnancy, including the due date. However, one visit to the gynecologist left her completely speechless. On February 27, 2026, the mother revealed why she now suspects her unborn child may somehow be connected to a toddler from her family who passed away decades ago.

Maye's son often talked to his imaginary friend "Ali" from Omaha. The mother now believes that "Ali" may actually be her grandfather's late sister, who died in a fire accident when she was three. Her grandfather's parents later had another daughter, who happened to share the same birth date, June 3, as the daughter they had lost. The couple also gave her the same name as their late toddler. Maye's son, who had become unusually attached to "Ali," told his mother that she would become pregnant. While Maye dismissed his claims, she later found out that she was carrying her second child. In a twist of events, her gynecologist estimated the baby's due date as June 3!

While Maye understands that due dates are only estimates, she wonders what would happen if the baby is born on the very same suspicious date. "Am I about to give birth to my son's imaginary friend? Is that what's happening?" she asked. She also added in the caption, "Catching y'all up on the wild ride that's been my life for the last few months." Following the video gaining massive attention on social media, many users began sharing theories in the comments. The viewers believe that her unborn child is a reincarnation of her grandfather's late sister.

@mcintyrespirit explained, "You're about to give birth to an ancestor that's ready to be in human form again. This is what we do. I love that your son is so attuned to his gifts. Don't fight it. You all are divine." @msdotmisha commented, "Your son is definitely a medium. And I love it! Welcome to the fascinating world of having a gifted child." @multidimensional_gia mentioned, "This is amazing, I love it! I'm fairly sure I gave birth to my childhood imaginary friend (meaning my first son was my imaginary friend as a child). I am a psychic medium."
