Honesty and thoughtfulness from people might make a person's day. A college senior got that kind of honesty from a sixth-grader after he found a large dent on his car. The student, Andrew Sipowicz, walked out to see that his car had been "bashed" badly and had a big dent close to one of the front wheels. He was pretty mad after looking at the state of his car, but a note from a young girl changed how he felt instantly, per CBS News.

"I wasn't expecting that at all. It came from a sixth-grader," Andrew shared. The girl, Ziarra Griffin, saw her bus driver hit the car and leave without owning up to it, so she took it upon herself to get justice for the car owner. Griffin wrote a note and tucked it under the windshield of the car to ensure that the person could confront the bus driver. Andrew shared the note on his X account, where he goes by @Andrew_Sipowicz. The note read, "If you are wondering what happened to your car, Bus 449 hit your car." The girl revealed that the bus dropped her at the same spot every day at 5 PM. She explained exactly how the dent was made and that the driver had "hit and run." Griffin added, "I saw what happened, sorry."

She even drew a picture of the bus and herself watching the incident from the bus window. "Shoutout to the anonymous 6th grader for saving me a couple thousand (Bus not drawn to scale)," Andrew wrote in the caption. "The student who wrote the letter has been found and we’re in the process of finding a way to reward her for her actions. Very grateful for what she did," he added in an update. The bus driver was held accountable and the man could get his car fixed, per CBS News. "I couldn't act like it didn't happen, so I chose to do something about it," Griffin expressed. "My mom always said that when you see someone doing the wrong thing, you have to do the right thing."

However, her mom shared a different story. The woman wasn't exactly thrilled about leaving the note at first because she was worried that people would think that it was her. "My daughter taught me how to stay kind, how to stay compassionate, how the right thing is always the right thing," the mom expressed. Andrew even met up with the mom and daughter to thank the girl for her kindness. "I can't believe you left me that note. When I first saw my car, I was angry and then I saw your note and it changed my entire mood." He added, "To know that there are people out there with this type of integrity and honesty, I am going to remember this for the rest of my life."

People appreciated the girl for doing the right thing in the comments section of the video. @CeeCeeB wrote, "Her parents are doing an amazing job with this beautiful, kindhearted young lady! She gives me hope!" @marialongoria8774 commented, "Great story. An absolutely beautiful young woman and her beautiful mom. The sweet girl did the right thing. I am so proud of her!" @felixcat9318 remarked. "What a beautiful family this is. True, honest Americans doing what it takes to help when they see an abuse of authority! The family are superb role models." @tracym1284 shared, "We need more people like this little girl. Well done for making his day better."
