Ryan explained that four or five kids were playing by a shallow lake while fishing. Suddenly, one of the kids fell into the water and did not swim back. When the others jumped in to find him, they couldn't see any trace of him. Soon, a search operation was formed, but the boy was nowhere to be seen. The worst thoughts likely crossed the minds of his friends and family. However, five days after the kid went missing, he was found 120 miles away at someone's front porch in the middle of the night. He was reportedly asking for help, but no other information or details were disclosed. In a follow-up video, the man explained that the entire ordeal was likely a prank. He noted that the boy allegedly "hid" from his friends after falling into the lake, went over to his cousin's house nearby, and was then driven 120 miles away.
There was no way to know the intent behind the boy's actions, and whether the explanation was true. However, the internet pointed out that several kids do go missing in reality, and the instances are usually as baffling as this case. Ryan revealed in a comment that his parents learned about the truth a short while later, and hence were not as worried. Nevertheless, the story has shocked viewers on the internet.
