Getting separated from a child at an amusement park can be a big problem for parents. However, luck was on a couple's side when their son went missing at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania. The boy had snuck to an out of operation monorail station while he was going around with his mom on their trip to the park. The worried parents informed the authorities and looked all around when a stranger gave them a valuable clue about the child's whereabouts, per PEOPLE.

The kid had gone missing at 5:05 PM on August 30, according to a spokesperson from Hersheypark. He had gone off to the monorail station that wasn't running and stayed there for around 20 minutes before he got onto the monorail tracks. "The ride was closed and safeguarded by a chained closure at the entrance and barricaded turnstile at the platform," the spokesperson went on. One of the guests spotted the boy on the tracks and immediately informed the authorities. "Our team members immediately responded after he was spotted on the tracks and at approximately 5:28 p.m., the child was safely reunited with his family. He was unharmed." The kid was found walking on the monorail tracks significantly above the ground.

Many people in the crowd below noticed him and were worried to see him at such a place. Some of them even started screaming. The kid was quite confused to hear all the shouting and stopped walking ahead. He was looking around to understand what had happened. Quite a few bystanders stood below the tracks with outstretched arms to catch the child in case he fell down. A man had climbed up the roof of a nearby business to reach the boy safely. He stood there with outstretched arms as the guests encouraged the kid to walk in his direction. "Go that way," the people repeated."Go to him now!" Officers could also be seen rushing to the scene to help rescue the kid from the tracks, per a video from ABC7.

Many people were also frantically waving their arms at the kid. Eventually, a man got onto the tracks and picked the kid up from there and brought him to safety. The crowd cheered after the kid was finally rescued and many onlookers breathed a sigh of relief. "We are grateful for the vigilance of our guests and the swift response of our team and we remain committed to maintaining the highest levels of guest safety throughout Hersheypark," the spokesperson from the park told PEOPLE. Many people appreciated the two people who got onto the tracks and the roof to save the boy in the comments section of the ABC7 video.

@emilywiebel3238 wrote, " The two guys who literally jumped up there to get him are real heroes. I’ve never been there, so I have no idea how the kid even got up there to begin with, but so thankful those two men were there and were able to climb up to rescue him before he fell." @remotecabinstudios commented, "The joy and relief that complete strangers felt when they knew that the innocent child was safe actually warms my heart." @ParkerThomas remarked, " Praise the lord, can’t imagine what the poor kid was thinking. Feel so bad for him. Glad he was saved."
