Gail was working the night shift with two of her male co-workers. She mentioned how they weren't her "favorite," and that she would avoid conversing with them. However, when one of the men asked the other why he had never asked the nurse out, she decided to intervene. She gestured at her ring and told them that she was taken and committed to her relationship. The colleague, who was in disbelief upon hearing her, said he thought she had worn it to "ward off creepy guys." Without skipping a beat, she snapped back, "Doesn't work, does it?" indicating that he was the "creep" in question, and was clearly still bothering her. "He did not talk to me for the rest of the night," she triumphantly said.
