Couple driving through flooded roads spots sinking car and realizes it’s life or death — their quick action saved 2 women

A person's one quick action can save someone's life in a matter of seconds. Something similar happened to a couple who noticed a stranded car on a flooded road. They decided to check on the people in the car and ended up saving two women's lives and their belongings in the process. The woman, Lauren Alana St Clair, recorded her boyfriend getting the women out of their car one by one and saving them from the flood. She shared the clip on Facebook.

"[We are] true believers in everything happens for a reason," St. Clair wrote in the caption of a three-part video post. "We noticed a car fully submerged and my boyfriend got out of the car, jumped in saved these ladies(and their purses) out of their sinking car," she recounted. "It was like nothing I've ever seen before. And my baby is a hero," the woman expressed. "Right place, right time," the caption concluded. The man, Ethan, waded through the waters and got to the submerged car with the two women inside. He was in waist-deep waters and patiently stood close to the car window as one of them tried to get out of the car. After a lot of struggle, the woman seemed to get out of the window and the man helped her get on his back.
He carried the woman on his shoulders to a safe place before he went back for the second woman inside the car. "There's another one," someone screamed from the background. Ethan helped the second person in a similar way and helped them get on his back so they could be carried away from the flooded portion. The man struggled through the floods and even went back for a third time to get both of their purses from the car. His girlfriend cheered him on and said, "Go baby, go baby go." St. Clair shared that the flooding had occurred on "On Mason-Dixon in between the north and south, 219 ramps between Garrett and Meyersdale."
People appreciated the gesture in the comments section of the thread. Matthew Sope wrote, "Awesome dude. Need more kind-hearted people like him and maybe the world wouldn’t be so ignorant." JoAnne Coleman asked, "Was that the actual road, or did they lose sight of the road because of all the water and then end up in a creek?" St. Clair shared that it was an actual flooded road and not a creek. Shannon Nicole remarked, "That’s so wonderful. He is always so quick to help someone. I have quickly noticed that. This just makes my heart so happy, those ladies will never forget this."
Nikki Trent shared, "Amazing man in my words! Lauren Alana St Clair, Thank you and Ethan Todd, for everything you did today for them ladies! Imagine how scary! I couldn’t imagine the pride they felt knowing someone actually cared." Melissa Smith expressed, "Awe, you tell your man that he is a hero and this made me cry! Thank him for being this person!" Joy Paul pointed out, "God bless this man. He should be recognized for his bravery. I am glad guardian angels were keeping watch for all three."
