@_.shay.dawn._ Just a friendly reminder to know what’s going on around you! What didn’t get caught on camera was this guy trying to get me out of our car after walking away in the first clip! @Mrs. Chapoy🦋 @Chapoy #creepy #ringdoorbell #fyp ♬ original sound - _.shay.dawn._
The resident was getting inside her home when she noticed a man behind her. He was about to make a move close to her when she instantly turned around. "Can I help you?" she asked in a stern voice. He was immediately caught off guard and began making up excuses. In a follow-up video, the woman, identified as Alyssa, noted how her dog, Coda, became alert and started barking, which pushed him to rethink his intentions. She refused to open her door or turn her back, and insisted he go on his way. A little while later, she informed her sister and another known person, who happened to be in her parking lot. They realized he was still hanging around and took Alyssa into her apartment and locked the door.
The woman's suspicion was confirmed. Moments later, the stranger returned, this time trying to see if he could get in. He stayed outside her door for a few seconds before leaving the place. Sharing the scary experience with online users, Alyssa wrote, "Friendly reminder to always be aware of your surroundings." Going by the video, the man was seemingly planning to attack her from behind when she was trying to unlock her door. Several viewers heaped praise on the resident for her astute reaction and for recognizing the signs. Others insisted the creep had worrisome intentions.
@kyla commented, "He was about to attack you, like he was maybe half a second from rushing you. I am so glad you are okay." @WetTreeBark shared, "He was definitely waiting for you to open the door so he could push in behind you. Nice reflexes. Always be aware when you're moving from a public space to a private one." @chlo33184 remarked, "You stayed so impressively calm, I think it freaked him out."
