Kids' unfiltered opinions can be cruel, but they can be funny too. One dad, named Austin Miles Geter, was happy to watch his daughter draw her mother using chalk. However, as soon as she drew him, he was dumbstruck, and he instantly decided to never "allow" his daughter to draw again. Austin shared the adorable and hilarious video on Facebook on October 28, 2025, and it has garnered more than 196K likes.

Austin had taken his children out to experiment with their chalk and was hoping to bring out the Picasso in them. His daughter, who drew a stick figure, immediately grabbed her father's attention and told him that it was a drawing of her mother. The dad, who was thrilled to watch his daughter having fun, grew a bit nervous when she said that she would be drawing him next. Expecting a sweet drawing, the dad filmed the young girl scribbling on the pavement as she began drawing his face and a smiley. However, she scooted back a little to add his "big belly." In the hilarious video, the little girl was seen saying, "Big, big belly." The dad, who went speechless, was clearly disappointed and embarrassed as he said, "Oh my God." The overlay text read, "We stopped drawing with chalk after this day," while the caption under the post read, "No more drawing!"

A 2024 study analyzed 328 kindergarteners and found that when adults expressed trust in children by encouraging their skills and using words that promote confidence, these children were found to be less disloyal in life. By choosing not to feel bothered about his daughter's honesty, Austin was not only encouraging a positive environment for his child but was also allowing his daughter to express herself freely without hesitation or fear.

The video grabbed the attention of many online users who could not contain their laughter. @Brooke Baker recounted, "25 years ago, when my niece was really little, she drew a picture of me and my ex-husband. He was a stick figure, and I was a stick figure with a big circle drawn around the middle!" @Charlie Duston mentioned, "My husband had a discolored tooth on the bottom (he got hit in the mouth, and it was slowly dying). Both of our girls drew 'Daddy’s yellow tooth' in pictures for years." @Ileana Smith wrote, "Kids are so savage. My daughter used to pat my belly and be like, 'Mommy's pregnant, there's a baby.' Ugh, no child, mommy's just fat, but thanks for ruining my self-esteem."

Austin's story reminds us of Sadie Clements, who showed her toddler Phoebe old photos of her and asked if she looked the same now as she did then. However, the toddler did not hold back, saying that her mom looked "prettier" in the older photos. Sadie, who could not hold back her laughter, went quiet after hearing her daughter's blunt response. Fortunately, Sadie did not take offense at her daughter's reaction, helping build a safe and encouraging space for the kid.
