Some of the stories by the childcare providers are so crazy that one might have a hard time believing in them.

Daycare providers play an important role in the lives of busy parents. But quite a few times, they have to be on the receiving end of the most unusual demands from a kid's parents. These might be hard to fulfill or simply unreasonable. A mom and daycare provider, Grace Saylor, who goes by @_gracesaylor_ on TikTok, asked daycare providers on the platform to share the most "unhinged" demands they have ever received from the parents at their childcare centers.

"I am bored. So childcare providers, share the most unhinged things the parents have asked you to accommodate," the text overlay of the video read. "I’m not talking about 'My 2-year-old doesn’t need to nap anymore.' I mean the borderline crazy expectations they have of us." Grace Saylor is a home daycare provider and hasn't faced any such issues herself, per TODAY.com. However, she shared that many people in the business have to deal with quite a few crazy things. "Some of these providers have perpetually late parents," Saylor explained. Nonetheless, these people can't complain because they don't want to lose a family and depend on them as a source of income. Many people shared the craziest demands they have heard of in the comments section of the video.

@chloe_leah_ wrote, "They wanted us to give their baby Calpol every time they woke up from a nap. They did click that the reason they always woke up with a temperature was because they had an addiction to Calpol. Mum was a doctor." @merissa_thehotmessmamma commented, "When I asked why a tiny 6-month-old was in a size 6 diaper that was way too big, she said, 'Well, he’s 6 months, that’s his size.' Mind you, this is her 3rd child." @_luciso_ remarked, "One time a parent asked us to call her halfway through the day, saying her child was sick, so she could leave work."

@hannahwhitlow shared, "'Don’t tell her no because it upsets her.' I said, 'Ok, so strictly redirection?' and they said, 'No, we just let her have free range to make her own decisions and let her choose what she wants to do,' AHAHAH." @elizabethyoung880 expressed, "Had a parent say their kid couldn't eat our food because it's too processed and packs her kid Kraft Mac and Cheese every day for lunch." @slightly_wonky revealed, "Kiddo had a doctor's appointment. Mom called and said they were on the way back. I asked how it went. She says, 'Oh, she has pneumonia. Be there in 5.' No ma’am." @lorrettasowa said, "Child had digestion issues, mom asked us to chew his food for him, then feed it to him. No, no, no way."

Another daycare provider, Kimmy, who goes by @kimmythedaycarediva, shared her struggles as a daycare provider as comedy sketches on the platform. In one video, the woman revealed how a parent once told her that they would "call the state on [her]" just because she had asked them to take their sick child home with them. Keeping a sick child at the place, who could be contagious, was against the daycare's policy. "I am the bad person for telling your child who has a fever can't come in here," Kimmy expressed.
