Flight attendant casually asked business-class passenger if she was a model — weeks later, a surprise call made the question feel like fate
Some coincidences make us question whether two events were really as unrelated as they first seemed. Fashion model Kerri Reilly experienced this in the most wholesome way. Sharing her story under her Instagram handle, @kerrireilly1610, on September 29, 2026, she mentioned that she was on a Malaysia Airlines flight when a flight attendant struck up a casual conversation with her. Out of the blue, she asked whether she was a model, not knowing that Reilly had auditioned for the airline before the trip. Weeks later, Reilly's agency called her with news that left her stunned.
Reilly explained that she was on a regular business-class flight and the flight attendant was simply making small talk with her. During their exchange, she asked whether she was a model. Unbeknownst to her, something about that conversation lit a spark, and an opportunity followed. After a few weeks, she got a call to feature as a model for Malaysia Airlines’ business class. She shared glimpses of herself during a shoot, and it was evident that she could now see a different kind of confidence and beauty in herself. Without knowing it, the flight attendant helped manifest Reilly's aspirations with her words.

Commenters were amazed by her story and commended her for grabbing the opportunity. @keeptravelreal wrote, “Awesome girl. Hope the universe continues to bless you.” @bunnyboigirly added, “Love that for you.” @manyfestyou said, “What a dream. You are gorgeous.” The flight attendant's "words of affirmation" came at a time when Reilly had already auditioned for the airline, making the encounter feel like a sign that her dream was finally coming true.

There are times when life seems to align in ways that make our long-held wishes feel closer than ever. This happened to a woman named Hannah Heiss at her sister's wedding. She was tasked with giving the maid of honor speech and decided to share something personal during the speech. After shaking off her nervousness and getting permission from the newlyweds, she mentioned that she was single and open to meeting someone. She finished her speech by saying, "Sign me up, I'll be by the bar." Whether she meant it as a joke or was serious, she manifested it, and it worked. While over a hundred guests laughed at her words, one groomsman took them seriously. They ended up getting to know each other so well that she flew to visit him after the wedding.
