Fourth-grade teacher called him ‘the devil’ and always took his bully’s side — so he proved her right with the pettiest email revenge
Favoritism by teachers can affect students’ confidence. An anonymous Reddit user was bullied by a student in his fourth grade; his math teacher always sided with the bully, calling him a "devil." However, when he was unable to tolerate the bullying, he decided to take matters into his own hands by sending a bunch of emails that left her having a nervous breakdown. Sharing the story on Reddit on May 19, 2025, the user revealed that his plan, which he had executed, never got him caught.
When the person behind the post was in fourth grade, he was constantly bullied by a kid. He never received help from his math teacher, who adored his bully and repeatedly paired him with the same student despite knowing they never got along. "Any time we got into it (him bullying me and me standing up for myself and other kids he bullied), she would treat me like garbage after," he wrote. He noted that while he was Jewish, his teacher was extremely religious and would often resort to name-calling him a "devil" whenever he upset her "favorite" student. However, he later used her school email to sign her up for blasphemous websites and misled his bully, and watched them both have a meltdown.
One day, when his bully picked a fight with the user in their gym class, he fought hard. "By that I mean I tried to bludgeon him with my arm cast after he had shoved me to the floor repeatedly." However, that led to him getting called a "devil" by the same math teacher. Unable to take the bullying anymore, he decided to use her own words against her.
The Reddit user spent days compiling a list of online psychic, tarot reading, and medium services and signed her up for all these websites using her school email ID. "The best part about it is I never got caught, but I do remember hearing about some extra email protocols being put in place for the teachers," he added. He also misled his bully on tests by giving wrong answers, and watched both his bully and math teacher spiral.
His petty revenge gained internet users' approval, who praised him for his brilliant plot. u/gender_witch mentioned, "Purposely misleading the bully you were forced to help is my favorite part." u/Aiku called the plan "pure genius." u/Worried-Guarantee-90 expressed, "The petty precision of that move was chef's kiss."
Students rely on teachers to acknowledge their struggles and act with fairness. In another story, TikTok user Nicky's daughter was told by her teacher, "Boys will be boys," when she complained about a boy who constantly pushed and bullied her. However, the teacher's comment did not sit right with the girl, who pushed the boy back and said, "Your mother must be so proud of you." When the boy shouted back, she replied, "F*** you and your mama." The mother defended her daughter and noted that she only took matters into her own hands when her genuine complaint was rejected by the adults.
