Girl's reaction after aunt gifts her creepy doll that 'nobody would buy' is absolutely wild

A kid might have unique interests and unconventional choices that not everyone can understand. But receiving understanding and acceptance from one's family can make all the difference. A girl who was in love with a spooky doll received that kind of acceptance from her family when her "cool aunt" got it for her as a surprise on her uncle's birthday. The mom, Kylie Spector, who goes by @kyliespector on TikTok, shared her daughter's adorable reaction on receiving the doll on the platform.

"When nobody would buy you the creepy doll you have been begging for, but then the cool aunt steps in," the text overlay of the video read. Kylie's little daughter really wanted a spooky doll called Ophelia, but her mom had refused to get it for her. So when the family was gathered to open her uncle's birthday presents, the girl, Ariana, had no idea about what was going to happen. The uncle was opening a big gift box and Ariana was watching with rapt attention, not knowing that the gift was actually for her. "What is this?" the uncle, who was in on the plan, repeated. The girl gasped in surprise as she noticed the "Sinister Spirit Doll" she had been asking for. She cried with her hands on her face as she saw the doll.

"Did you want that?" Kylie asked and Ariana nodded as she went towards her present. "Guess who got that for you. Aunt Kelcie got that for you," she revealed. The girl hugged the box to herself as her aunt said, "I knew you would love this because it's so cute." The girl put the box aside and went over to her aunt to give her a big hug. "I love you so much, you are the coolest. I couldn't resist getting it for you," Kelcie expressed. The girl couldn't stop crying as she looked at the doll and exclaimed, "It's so cute." Her mom explained that she kept saying no to getting the doll because she knew the girl's aunt was getting it for her. "Oh my god, this creepy thing," the mom said, as she opened the box for her daughter.

The caption read, "I love this girl so much. Again, my brother is opening the present because it was his birthday and we were all in on surprising Ariana with Ophelia  — she had no idea!" Kylie added, "Yeah, of course, she gets presents on her uncle’s birthday... she was the first grandchild/niece, spoiled af." In another video, the mom shared how she was "trying to be supportive of [her] spooky child's interests." The girl kept the doll on a chair beside her as she ate. Made a place to sleep for her next to her bed and took her everywhere she went. She also danced with her and stopped her mom from throwing water on her doll because it was "against her rules." The caption explained, "Trying to welcome Ophelia with open arms. Thank you so much, Aunt Kelcie."
