Man laughed as angry truck driver tried to intimidate him by tailgating on the highway — but the instant karma waiting at a red light was even better
Most people have probably dealt with an angry driver at some point, but one man’s road-rage meltdown took things to another level. Michael Brown, who shares videos on Instagram as @yourbestiemisha, shared what happened on October 22, 2026, after a truck driver began tailgating him, screaming and flipping him off for moving over to avoid a broken-down oversized vehicle. The man kept escalating and got even more frustrated when Michael laughed at him, unaware that karma was waiting for him at the next red light.

The driver wasn’t about to let things go. He pulled up beside Michael, screaming and flipping him off while Michael was busy “being a good homosexual and belting out a show tune” in his car. When Michael finally noticed him, he laughed, which only seemed to make the guy angrier. The driver then sped in front of Brown and slammed on his brakes, forcing him to switch lanes and go around. He came back alongside Brown, practically hanging his whole upper body out the window as he screamed, with “spit flying back in his face.” Brown was still laughing when they reached a red light, where the man tried to squeeze his truck between Brown’s Lexus and another car. That’s when a motorcycle cop pulled up beside him and motioned for him to pull over. “Have fun in jail,” Brown joked as he recounted the moment.

Brown couldn’t help poking fun at the driver, joking that maybe the guy was rushing off to yell at his wife over losing another “Kelshi bet.” He pointed out that he’d only moved over to make room for the broken-down vehicle and hadn’t done anything to provoke the guy. As he put it, he was “just following the law.” The whole thing also got Brown thinking that there should be some kind of warning about drivers who lose their minds over the smallest inconveniences. Comparing it to government travel advisories, he joked that officials should warn people about “emotional straight men who actually lose all of their marbles over the most minor of inconveniences.”

His followers found the whole thing just as entertaining. One commenter, @yank614, wrote, “You crack me up! Thank you!” Another user, @tiki.feral.kittyland.sanctuary, called the moment “so rewarding....” Meanwhile, @italianprincess2217 said, “That’s great! You gotta love karma. Did you wave goodbye to him?"

Road rage and dishonest drivers can turn even a minor incident into a much bigger problem. In another story, a man thought a truck driver had settled things after backing into his parked car and handing him $50 with an apology. Days later, he learned the driver had filed a false insurance claim blaming him for the crash, but his dashcam footage exposed the truth and got the claim dropped. Reckless behavior on the road does not always go as the person hopes, and that's what happened to both the truck drivers.
