Social media has been erupting with the latest trend where parents ask their kids how they'd describe them to the cops if they went missing. Instagram user Anite Gashumov (@mummy_anite) also decided to take part in the trend, and sat down with her two sons, curious to know what they would describe her to the cops if she went missing. However, their brutally honest replies left her regretting asking them in the first place. Sharing the hilarious video with Instagram followers on March 19, 2026, the mother revealed her shock at learning one detail her sons noticed the most.

Gashumov got on the trend where parents asked their kids what they'd describe to the cops if they went missing. When she inquired, her youngest son first replied that they would let the cops know that she was wearing red clothes and had brown skin; he also added that "she got big brown feet." The mother, who was shell shocked by this detail, asked her elder son what he'd say, to which he added, brown skin and eyes, black hair, "big nose" and yet again, he underlined the detail about her "big brown feet and her "short eyelashes." The mother couldn't hold back her laughter and asked them if she was considered "beautiful," to which they agreed, as her elder son went on to poke fun at her "Tesla Cybertrucks" shoes.

Sharing the hilarious interaction online, the mother noted that her shoe size was 9.5. "I hope I never go missing," she added. Children are known to be more observant than adults. A 2017 study conducted experiments with 4 to 5-year-olds and found that while adults were better at focusing on a single task, children’s brains tended to notice everything around them, even information they weren’t specifically asked to pay attention to.

For example, when shown two overlapping shapes and told to track only one, children still detected changes in the ignored shape 77% of the time, compared with 63% for adults. In a second test involving drawings with multiple features, children were 72% accurate at remembering features they weren’t instructed to watch for, compared with 59% accuracy in adults. Since kids are brutally honest about their opinions and are yet to figure out what is and what is not supposed to be shared, they tend to be unhinged about their responses. Going by the video, the mother seemed to be a fun-loving parent who did not take offense at her sons' hilarious jokes.

This outlines that the parent is encouraging her children to be honest about their opinions, thus creating a safe environment to be vocal about anything. Soon after her video went viral, many users shared their reactions to it. Many users noted that they particularly found them not holding back their thoughts hilarious. @natural_natosha wrote, "Crying cause his brother tried to hold it in, but then came back and violated." @no1ladee wrote, "It's not too late to put those jokas up for adoption, you know! Either that or birthdays and Christmas '2026' are going to be short and not so sweet. Let’s see who laughs then." @uxerntfound commented, "Kids always end every interaction by saying something unhinged. What do you mean by 'her shoes are Tesla Cybertrucks"? "
