No reward is greater than the joy of putting a smile on someone’s face. It is a delight to be a part of the solution to someone’s problem with kindness and love. A mom, Cassandra Rider, shared how actor Paul Rudd had the perfect response to her son Brody's situation after students carelessly ignored her son. The mom shared that she was heartbroken to learn that children refused to sign her son’s yearbook and shared the same in a post on Facebook. This upsetting story turned into a light of hope after the actor came across it, added his aura, and left a spectacular mark on Brody’s life.

Cassandra shared a picture of the yearbook and mentioned that no one except two teachers and two students was willing to sign the same. Sharing the blank pages, the mom was disheartened. “My poor son. Doesn’t seem like it’s getting any better. 2 teachers and a total of 2 students wrote in his yearbook. Despite Brody asking all kinds of kids to sign it. So Brody took it upon himself to write to himself. My heart is shattered. Teach your kids kindness,” she wrote. Her post reached several people and many seniors, companies and others pitched in to share a message of love and encouragement to the boy. The mom shared the same over a series of posts on her Facebook. However, there was one special person who also decided to show up with the perfect plan for Brody.

In one of her posts, Cassandra mentioned that Paul Rudd, the actor himself, got in touch with Brody. The mom was shocked to find a video of her son on a video call with the “Antman” engaged in a conversation. “I heard about you and I said, ‘I gotta talk to this guy, he sounds like my kinda guy,’” Rudd exclaimed. Brody was baffled and could only smile in complete disbelief.  “Brody got to talk to Paul Rudd! ANT-MAN! Like this is real life?! Pinch me now!” the mom wrote. She was beyond grateful for the actor’s thoughtfulness. “Shout out to Paul Rudd and his sister Mandi for reaching out and setting this up! You truly made Brody so happy! My heart is so full right now!” the mom added. But this was not all, Rudd added one more gesture of love so Brody would have something more than a signature in his yearbook.

In another post, the mom revealed a heartwarming package Rudd sent over. Consisting of the coolest Antman merchandise- the headgear, Rudd wrote on it, “To my good friend Brody, for when he takes on the world.” The actor signed the helmet and also left a handwritten note. It read, “When life gets tough, there are so many things that get better.” He also assured Brody that he is loved and many, including the actor himself, believe that he is one of the “coolest kids.” “I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things you’re going to accomplish,” he concluded. The mom also shared a text exchange between Rudd and her son which has us smitten. Thanking the actor for his love, Brody wrote, “You’re my favorite superhero,” and received a reply that made all the difference. “You’re mine,” Rudd responded. Like always, kindness takes the first place here too!
