Some people enjoy getting on other people's nerves and find pleasure in "rage baiting" them. A rude customer tried to rage-bait a female bartender with offensive topics and came off as a generally rude person from the moment he entered the bar. He thought he was the alpha male and could say whatever he wanted. He pretended to give his obnoxious opinions to the only other two men who were present in the bar, boasting about his freedom of speech. Little did he know, his own antics were about to get him. Sharing the story with TikTok users on February 18, 2026, the bartender Jaimie (@jaimiesteck) revealed the smart way her manager kicked him out of the bar.

The man walked inside with a condescending attitude, bragging and making comparisons between the prices of the beer sold at Jaimie's bar and the one he "often" visited down the street. That's when two other men walked in and sat in the chairs beside him. Upon seeing the American flag symbol on one of the men's hats, he began making offensive statements under the confidence that he was just "exercising his free speech." Jaimie realized that he was trying to rage bait her when he loudly declared there was "nothing these two can do about it," indicating her and her female manager. As she sat there, pondering how to get him to leave, one of the two men went inside to use the restroom. In the meantime, the manager soon arrived and did exactly what Jamie was hoping for — she asked him to leave immediately. Turns out, the very men he was boasting to went and complained about his ruthless approach and words and demanded he be kicked out.

It was no longer a rage-bait for the bartender to give in to; it was a customer complaint, and the manager didn't hesitate to quickly put the hauty man in his place. Sharing the incident online, Jamie wrote, "The guys ended up making it a point to come back any time they were in town to show their gratitude." According to a study published on ResearchGate, workers often face difficult and rude customers at workplaces while attempting not to lose their temper. "This study finds that perceived ego threat explains why employees respond negatively to uncivil customer behavior," the study noted. Jaimie revealed that the other two customers could not tolerate the way he was trying to provoke others. Neither Jaimie nor her female manager could oust him of their own will, until the fellow customer himself helped them kick him out.

Jaimie's video caught the attention of many online users who shared their thoughts on it. @JessicaSmart commented, "Freedom of speech, sure, but not freedom from the consequences of your speech. I don't know why people don't realize this." @penelopepavarti added, "Freedom of speech means the government can't infringe on you for it. It doesn't apply to private entities." @kristineliann4 remarked, "So good, I'm applauding. God for you, ladies!"
