Kids often draw things that don’t make much sense. A dad named Mike Zazzara (@beantown.collectibles) received a call from his 5-year-old's teacher after she drew a "disturbing picture" of her family at school. However, when his daughter returned home with the drawing, the father wasn't sure whether to laugh or worry. Sharing his hilarious reaction on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the dad displayed his daughter's sketch, asking fellow Instagram users for their thoughts.

Instagram user and dad Mike Zazzara revealed that he received a call from his 5-year-old daughter's teacher, who informed him about a "disturbing" drawing she had made of her family. Displaying the drawing to his followers, the dad described that the stick figure sketch showed a house, with his wife and three children standing on the roof, while his own character appeared to be falling off, almost as if his family had "pushed" him. "It appears that I'm pushed or thrown. We're not sure yet," he said. However, the dad, who couldn't stop chuckling at the drawing, was confused as to why his family appeared "sad" in the drawing while he, who was "falling off the roof," was seen smiling.

Regardless, Zazzara was amused by his daughter's drawing. After he posted the video online, many users shared their thoughts on the kid's drawing. Some "warned" the dad about what his daughter might be plotting. @tinapastorius wrote, "I can see her thought process. There wasn't room for you on the roof, but she still wanted you in the picture, so she decided to throw you off." @nancybythepond commented, "Is that a shovel nearby? Were you the happy hero shoveling the roof? This looks like a silly, happy drawing. No worries." @melloyellow126 shared, "It looks like you jumped off to get away from your family, and the smile is because you're finally at peace. I would have called home, too."

Zazzara's hilarious video reminds us of TikTok user Melton, who was left in stitches when she saw a drawing made by her six-year-old son Jameson. Her son made a drawing of his family; however, when she noticed that one stick figure had squiggly lines coming off its body, she was confused. He responded by saying that it was her because she "was nervous all the time." She wrote, "My anxiety is showing."

The woman, who could not contain her laughter, wrote in the caption, "I'm on the floor." The mother, who had often shown her stress in front of her family, was unaware that her son was noticing her behavioral changes. Though the drawing showcased her silent struggles, the mother found the image rather amusing. Like Melton, Zazzara also seemed clueless about what his daughter intended to draw. Nevertheless, he found it hilarious.
