She then gave a reason that didn’t exactly inspire confidence in her mother’s animal knowledge. What the kid said left the mother speechless. Sharing the hilarious interaction between the duo on Monday, February 16, 2026, the mother revealed how her daughter humbled her real quick.
The Instagram user was watching a series when her toddler daughter came up to her and asked if she could answer a question about turtles. When the parent mentioned she wasn’t very familiar with them, the young girl clarified that she wasn’t sure her mom could help. She explained, "You went to school to be a veterinarian, but you are not," implying that her mom never became one. The mother was dumbstruck by her response and shared the video, adding that she plans to research turtles so she can better answer her daughter’s questions. She wrote, "It really is [sic] your own kids to let you know the real about yourself. But that's ok, Mommy is about to do some turtle research so she can have one soon."
