Music requires a great deal of skill and precision. Moreover, instruments like the violin are even harder to ace. The intricate detailing and concentration in mastering these instruments are truly commendable. While that seems beyond impressive, one extremely talented musician, Zachary Peterson, has been blowing people's minds with with his exceptional skills. The violinist and fiddler has such an extended record in his skill set that he has taken the arduous task of violin playing to the next level. The man plays different sizes of violins made out of Legos.
With a TikTok account featuring his creative mastery, Peterson has outdone himself in each performance. Right from popular pieces like “Cotton-Eyed Joe,” “Somewhere over the Rainbow,” and others, he has rendered unbelievable renditions on his very own homemade instruments using Lego blocks. One of his popular videos that has amassed over 3 million views is that of the “Lord of the Rings - Concerning Hobbit” tune, played flawlessly on a homemade Lego violin. Peterson has some of the parts of the violin like the neck, fingerboard, strings and so on intact. However, instead of the bout and several other pieces that intricately make up a traditional violin, the man has Lego blocks put together.
How he does it is a mystery, all of his videos capture the finished result - the beautiful sound instruments, out of legos resounding meticulous tunes to hear. Peterson has several bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from renowned universities, per Knapton Musik Notes. What’s more, he also has a 2-year membership with the leading Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Peterson can also play the cello, fiddle, viola and other instruments and has a knack for excelling in solo and grouped performances, of both, renowned and rare masterpieces. In another one of his videos that amassed over 55k of engagement, the musician is seen going all out with his homemade Lego fiddle.

He played the Cantina theme from “Star Wars" and people were awestruck seeing his immense talent and creativity. @andromeda_144 remarked, “Homemade Lego fiddle? My jaw is on the floor.” @sailedtoastie added, “The ingenuity of the human mind knows no bounds.” @daniboyhere69 remarked, “Masterpiece right there - well done my guy.” Another video featured Peterson playing the Super Mario theme on an acoustic homemade Lego fiddle. This, too, amassed over a million plays. Video after video, the only question people wonder after watching his performances is, “How!?”

Peterson revealed in several of his YouTube videos the “how” behind this baffling creation.
