With time, generations are changing and each has its own signature habits and preferences that they swear by. Presently, Gen Z is being looked up to for understanding the trends. For millennials and older generations who are completely aloof from these novel ideas, Gen Z is a saving grace. A millennial, Bailey Henry, was facing the same dilemma but over a couple of days, her Gen Z coworker taught her everything she needed to know. She then made an epic video to keep other millennials, too, in the loop and it is hilarious yet very useful. From fashion to work habits and even personality traits, there were quite a few elements that left millennials baffled.

The woman mentioned that despite being in her 30s, she felt young and fresh and was open to trying new things. She then added that she came across a 19-year-old coworker who was happy to share the Gen Z secrets for her to live her best life. The first thing Henry mentioned was “DHgate.” “It’s not a generational thing but it’s like a youth thing. And youth are in the know. I did not know, now I know,” she said, excited. Dhgate is a wholesale shopping site where people can find vivid products across different categories. Next up, Henry spoke about the “Great Divide,” which is popular among college-going girls.

“There’s the Golden Goose girls and the Air Force One girls,” she remarked. Referring to different shoe styles favored by the majority of youth, she mentioned that heels, especially at bars or clubs, are now outdated. Next up, she spoke about the slang used by Gen Zs. “They just use words. ‘Sus,’ I don’t know what that is, I thought about it- ‘Suspicious?’” she said to herself. Another example was “Mid,” indicating something mediocre. “I don’t know why they just can’t say, ‘The vibe is not good,’ or, ‘I don’t feel good here,’” Henry said. She seemed perplexed yet eager that she now had hands-on information about the Gen Zs.

Henry then talked about the concept of “Eskimo sisters.” “It is a term for two girls who are hooked up with the same guy,” she said. Disappointed by the term, Henry was happy that millennials avoided such complexities during their time. “Snapchat is everything. You don’t ask for someone’s phone number, they’ll think you’re crazy,” she pointed out. People were so fascinated by the bizarre Gen Z world that Henry was encouraged to share more in a follow-up video. Here, the woman didn't fail to mention how grateful she was for her millennial era. “GenZers, bless their hearts, I wouldn’t trade places with them for anything in the world,” she exclaimed.

“They haven’t seen great economic examples. So they’re just going for it, they’re just living,” she explained. Henry suggested that this is why Gen Z spends less frugally than millennials did during their younger years. “Another thing is Gen Zs aren’t as close to their parents, which I think is sad,” the woman added. “Generational divide is fascinating,” she further remarked. The videos by Henry provided rich insights into the modern times to the older generations. Millennials, particularly, were happy to learn and were making notes of everything. Some even rushed to Google the terms Henry mentioned in her clips. @kaylacurington wrote, “Not my millennial self googling these words to know what they are.” @heathaann712 hilariously added, "The most millennial part of this was that you typed and printed the list instead of making a note in your phone." @usererror12340 commented, "I just watched this whole thing like class was in session ."
