Toddlers evoke one of the best reactions after learning that they’re going to be siblings. While some are happy, others are upset and some are even confused. However, it is delightful to see how they learn and grow with their parents to prepare for this tiny new member. A woman named Mandalyn shared that her 4-year-old daughter was not too glad about the idea of another baby in the family. When the mom revealed to her that she was going to be an older sister, she started crying. However, being a chirpy and fun toddler, she soon made a hysterical comeback by asking the most epic and spot-on question to her parents.

The mom mentioned that her daughter was not happy to hear about the pregnancy. She even ran up to her room and cried about the news. However, the reaction didn’t end there. The tiny tot followed up with a more firm and adorable question about logistics. “After she cried in her bed, she came downstairs hands on hips and asked in the most accusatory tone, ‘And where exactly is this new baby gonna sleep?’” The mom must have been baffled at the thought process of her toddler. She recalled thinking that her daughter believed her parents to be “two teens who hadn’t thought this pregnancy through.”

Even in her crying, she was playing logical scenarios in her head. The little girl’s idea was that there was a bed that was for her and sharing wasn’t on the cards. Little did she know, her parents had everything planned. One thing was for certain, this girl was sure to care for her siblings and look out for them. The mom even added in a thread, “I felt a little shame, not gonna lie,” and one can only imagine the sassy tone and stature with which her 4-year-old might have posed the question. For a toddler’s reaction, this sure was unique and one-in-a-million. People were surprised by the girl’s mindset and couldn’t help but chuckle at her question.

@_kayCiam wrote, “She’s so disappointed in both of you.” @arrtnem added, “Four-year-olds have this brutal, unfiltered honesty that just cuts right through the noise, don’t they? Like, forget the idea of a cute sibling bonding moment—she went straight to logistics. ‘You’re bringing a whole new human into this situation? Where is it gonna sleep?!’” @imadbzni said, “Time to have that debate: baby nursery or tiny roommate? Your kid's giving serious landlord vibes—'lease terms' pending on crib allocation!” @yxngweaveB hysterically noted, “Little kids becoming big siblings and immediately trying to parent their parents is so funny to me.”

@TheN1James wrote, “That jealous streak will end,  but it makes for some funny laughs.” Many parents even shared their experiences of toddlers handling pregnancy news with more stress than the parents themselves. @LisaClarkO’Neil remarked, “After two weeks of experiencing a little brother, my then 4-year-old told me a matter of factly that it was time for him to go back.” @thomasaredmond recalled, “My youngest sister wanted to send me back when I arrived from the hospital with my parents.”
