4-year-old requests pregnant mom ready for delivery to come home from hospital—his reasons will melt your heart

It’s one of the cutest things to see toddlers and little kids prepare themselves for a younger sibling. A young boy, Bryce Wilson, was ready to welcome his baby sister, per PEOPLE. However, his primary concern was the well-being of his mother, Glow Wilson(@glorikaaaa_). The pregnant woman shared a video of herself from the hospital when her 4-year-old insisted she “come home.” When Glow tried to reason with her boy and find out why, he gave the most adorable response. The mom had been in the hospital for a three-day stay so she could deliver her baby. However, when Bryce came over to visit, he had a convincing plan hatching in his young mind.

Glow shared a video of her toddler trying to resonate with his mum and we can’t help but agree with his innocently adorable expressions and words. Trying to get himself as close as he could to meet his mom at an eye level, the boy confidently shared a heart-melting message. He boldly said, “We need you.” He then added, “We need our mama. We need you to stay alive and we don’t want nothing to happen to you.” Glow patiently made her son understand that she had to deliver the baby which was why she was in the hospital to begin with. The little boy, however, was not having it. He persisted in his demand that his mum accompany him home and be with him. Despite being told he had his siblings and dad to look after him, the boy wouldn’t budge.

“I don’t need no brothers, I don’t need no dad. I just need you!” he exclaimed. He kept holding his mum’s face and shoulders and tried to be as affectionate as he could while impactfully making her understand how much he meant what he said. The mom tried her best to convince the boy but was moved by her son’s raw and heartfelt expressions. Bryce was not ashamed to be vulnerable, loving and adorable, all at the same time. “I cried while I was recording it but I tried to stay as strong as possible because I wanted to convince him I was going to be okay,” the mom recalled she added that she was a little worried seeing his reactions. However, she was also grateful to know how much she meant to her little boy.

“The things he was saying were so special and it really showed me he understood what needing me meant,” she noted. Glow delivered via C-section and was soon able to take Bryce’s little sister home. The 4-year-old has been delightfully looking after his baby sister and has become more understanding as an older brother. Several people applauded the boy for pouring his heart out. @heatherw78 wrote, “He is so adorable! He melted my heart!
