A little gesture can restore people's faith in humanity. An Amazon delivery driver managed to do that after he found a stray $20 bill sitting on the floor. The man, Connor Drake, was at a person's doorstep to make a delivery when he spotted the bill. Once he delivered the parcel, he also picked up the money and tucked it under the box, so the owners could get it back. The entire incident was caught on the doorbell camera and the resident, Monica Luiz, was really touched by the gesture, per KTVU Fox 2 San Francisco.

When the family watched the clip of Connor returning the cash on their doorstep, they realized that they had dropped the money while they were stepping outside the house. In the footage, one could see the man carefully returning the cash without even giving it a second thought. Many people on the internet saw the video and thought highly of what Connor did. However, the man pointed out that what he did was not that big of a deal. "There's not really much to think about. I don't think of other people's money as mine. It's not mine, why should I take it?" Connor remarked.

"Watching the video, I was like, oh my gosh, he could have done anything," Monica continued. "But he did what he did and I was like, wow, that's pretty awesome." The family had shared the video on social media, according to the outlet. They also reached out to Amazon's management to inform them about the incident. Connor came back to the house for another delivery the next day. So the family went to the doorstep to greet him, thank him for what he did and to give him a special gift for his gesture. The man didn't feel that he had done anything special, but decided to accept the family's kind gesture ahead of the holidays. "I just wanted to thank him for reminding me that people like him do exist," Monica expressed.

"His integrity was so innocent and so natural and there was an authentic interaction between the two of us," she continued. Connor also felt touched by the family's gift. "It was a really kind gesture. Something that I feel wasn't really warranted," he pointed out. "I didn't need that, but I very much appreciate it. It went a long way this Christmas, so thank you." The family wished him a Merry Christmas during the video interview and thanked him for his "authenticity" once again. "I appreciate you guys, too. More than you know," the man responded. People appreciated Connor's honest gesture in the comments section of the video.

@jeanettesousa4810 wrote, "He did a fantastic job returning the money. His mom did an awesome job bringing him up. Thank you, Mom. Thank you, Connor." @tcross4946 commented, "This really gives me hope for humanity! It's nice to see there are still good, honest people out there! Good for you, young man! Your integrity is pure class! People could learn a lot from you!" @KawiRider-14x remarked, "One of my neighbors dropped his wallet in our community garage, so I opened it to find an address and dropped it off in front of the apartment number that was on the ID."
