Amazon worker delivering order for a mom on holiday left her house with a wholesome treat and a big smile on his face

People often hesitate to work around the holiday time but there are still selfless employees who take up the responsibility. Service personnel and delivery drivers, especially, take on the load of working throughout the festive season so others can have a hassle-free, leisure time. At such times, extending kindness and love is one of the sweetest responses to make their day. A woman named Samantha Brooke (@samanthabrookeb_) shared a video of one such Amazon driver who made his way to their home during the holidays. However, when he arrived with the package, he left with more than just a thank you. Undoubtedly, it lit up his day. 

The woman captured a video of her mom in the kitchen along with other family members and the Amazon driver in his uniform. In her caption, she explained that her mother didn’t look at the date of delivery while placing the order. She was disheartened to learn that the man had to make his way to work to deliver the package even during the holiday. Upset by the same, she decided to go all out for the driver. She casually took a container and began to fill in food items. The man was now welcomed to their holiday dinner and the mom gladly placed all the items she had prepared for the family in the container.

Adding generously to the plate, one delicious spoon after another, the mom ensured she checked with the delivery man and filled up his container. The driver not only felt welcome but also the warmth and the love of the holiday season. The driver shyly tried to convey what he’d like on his plate and what to leave out. He stood respectfully while the mom prepared his box. The scenario, being an unusual yet heartwarming one, had the duo smiling delightfully.

The driver left with a box and a heart full of love. Several people reacted to the clip with similar experiences. @pinklikeflamingo wrote, “We had a driver come in on Christmas last year and we had her come in and decorate cookies with us.” @aharry971 added, “I felt bad about my delivery arriving on Christmas Eve but I added a $20 tip and a nice note.” @karenpalmier05 remarked, “I once gave a driver some of our daughter’s graduation cake because he arrived during our party.” Many applauded the mom for her generosity and love.
