'Anxious' Brendan Fraser tears up when fan reassured him how much people adore him in viral clip

One of the things we can best give to our favorite artists and celebrities is support and encouragement. They, after all, are human beings who need the hype to continue being the best version of themselves. A woman named Lindley (@littlelottiecosplay) shared a heart-melting encounter with actor Brendan Fraser. The woman was in an online greeting session with the actor and after learning about his upcoming projects, congratulated him. When she noticed him getting nervous about his projects, she reassured him with the sweetest and most unexpected message that brought the actor to tears. 

The duo was caught up in a conversation where Fraser mentioned his then-upcoming project, the Martin Scorsese film "Killers of the Flower Moon." He said, “I'm going to work with Scorsese, Leo, and Bob DeNiro.” The actor was beyond excited about his comeback and to be working with the esteemed celebrities and it showed. As Lindley listened to him, she couldn’t help but congratulate and feel happy for him. Expressing a proud and vibrant emotion, the woman was surprised to hear Fraser’s honest feelings. He mentioned that he was “a little anxious,” as he patted his chest. “I might be a little sick,” he remarked, with his excitement and the pressure. He added that he knew it would be fun but was a little worried about his performance. 

“You got this,” Lindley said, without sparing a moment. She then shared a message on behalf of all fellow fans. “The internet is behind you. We're so supportive. There are so many people out there who love you, and we're rooting for you, and we can't wait to see what you do next,” she confidently assured the actor. Hearing her words and conviction, Fraser was moved. Sharing a heart-melting smile on screen, he couldn’t help but give away how overwhelmed he was with all the love. Actors are just human beings who also need love and encouragement for all they do and Fraser’s pure reaction proved the same. 

He choked up on his emotions and paused to take a sip of water while expressing his satisfaction and gratitude to his ever-loving fans. Towards the end of the video, he joyfully tipped his hat and exclaimed, “Shucks Ma’am.” Recalling the event, Lindley noted how there was a large fanbase that wanted to see Fraser succeed, per Business Insider​. She added, “Fraser was such a huge part of our childhoods. His movies were, and still are, loved by so many out there. After all he has been through these past years, his fans are thrilled to see him happy and back to work."

With over 15,000 comments, fans couldn’t help but agree and send love and light the actor’s way. @magicandmarie observed, “He looked like he was going to tear up when you told him we loved him.” @dawnriri wrote, “I teared up.
