Having important belongings stolen at an inconvenient time might feel like a nightmare. A couple who were about to get married found themselves in a difficult situation when a thief stole their car filled with their wedding paraphernalia just days before the ceremony. The car also had the bride's wedding dress and the wedding decorations. However, the bride, Julia Pallis, could help the police track down the groom, Collin Tully's, car with her quick thinking, per a local Boston outlet, WHDH.

The Massachusetts couple's wedding was scheduled on August 23 in Vermont, so they had packed everything up and put it inside their car on Thursday in order to leave early and set everything up. "It was packed to the brim. Boxes, drinks, signs, decorations," Pallis recounted. Tully placed the wedding gown in the car and left it running to call Pallis. "In what could only have been a minute, a minute and a half tops, between going back inside and telling her that the car was loaded up, ready to go and then walking outside to not having a car anymore," Tully explained. A man got inside the car during that time and drove away with the couple's belongings still inside.

Pallis knew that she had no time to panic and immediately got into action to get the car back. "I’m sure maybe inside, she was a little angry, but she was a rock star on the outside for sure," the groom remarked. "I was thinking obviously about all the things in the car, 'Oh my wallet, I should turn off my cards' and then I thought 'Oh my laptop is in there, such a bummer,'" Pallis went on. But then it immediately struck her that she could track her laptop to get the car back. The couple was able to give directions to the police to help them reach the car as it reached Bridgewater. The bride also chased the car along with the police.

"She acted quickly, got in her personal car and tracked the car until police cruisers could eventually catch up to her. She was giving them live reports," Tully recalled. After some time, the police were able to chase the car down and stop the man. They arrested the thief and returned all the wedding goods to the relieved couple.  "Honestly, that officer who was driving the detail, we owe her our whole wedding; she’s the MVP. We’re thanking our lucky stars for her," Pallis expressed. Julia is well-versed in wedding planning and was thankfully able to save her big day because of her quick thinking.

Now, even if some incidents feel like a big tragedy, something good might come out of them. A 65-year-old Starbucks Barista had her car stolen and was devastated, per TODAY.com. The woman, Karen Collinsworth, had shown great dedication towards her work during the decades she had been with the organization. She had always been passionate about her work and her 19-year-old coworkers absolutely adored her as a supervisor. They knew that Collinsworth needed a new car and weren't sure if she could afford one. So they got together and decided to start a fundraiser for their supervisor. They were able to collect $40,000 for a car and could surprise their "Starbucks mom," who was overwhelmed with emotion at their gesture.
