Grandma opens door to take Amazon package and invites deliveryman in—then bursts into tears upon realizing who he is

Seeing a loved one after a long time can be a very emotional event. Especially when it is unexpected. A grandmom experienced that when an Amazon delivery guy showed up at her door. The stranger asked if he could come inside the house and even though the woman was confused, she agreed to let him in. However, when he finally decided to reveal his identity, it left the grandma in tears. The woman's granddaughter, Annalise Ryan, who goes by @annaliseryan9 on TikTok, shared the moment with the platform. The video received over 53.2 million views.

"POV: Your brother comes back from the military after being away for 2 years, disguised as an Amazon guy to surprise your grandparents," the text overlay of the video read. The grandpa received the parcel from his grandson, Antony, disguised as the delivery guy and called the grandma to come and sign it. The woman came out to sign the parcel, while the family laughed at the situation, as Antony stood there in his mask and hat. "Can I use your restroom?" he asked. "You mean it? Okay, go ahead," she let him use the restroom and left the whole family in splits. "But then can you take your shoes off?" the grandma politely asked. The grandson removed his shoes and walked inside the house, his face still covered.

The grandma found the situation funny and unusual, but still decided to comply with the request. "He looks like Antony," she remarked. However, the man was still in England, according to her. The woman even introduced the delivery guy to all her grandkids and told him they were visiting her as he got ready to go. "Would you like some chicken soup?" Antony said yes and grandma brought some out in a takeaway container. "Can I just eat in here?" The woman was baffled at the request, but still welcomed him to come and sit at the dining table. "Why is this happening? You got a mom and dad?" As she came back into the room, Antony removed his mask and took off his hat. His grandma did a once-over and screamed in shock.

She immediately got on her knees and started crying while bowing down on the floor. Antony eventually went to her and gave her a big hug. The caption read, "Why was my grandma so nice to the 'Amazon guy?'" Many people appreciated the grandma's reaction to seeing her grandson in the comments section of the video.
