Hairstylist took one look at him and asked, 'Do you have a girlfriend?' — when he said no, her blunt reason humbled him
Consultations with hairdressers before getting a haircut shouldn't sound intimidating, but Instagram user Andrew's (@andrewoporto) experience says otherwise. The influencer decided to pay a visit to a Korean hairstylist. However, she immediately hit him with a bizarre question: "Do you have a girlfriend?" When he replied no, her brutal honesty humbled him and left him in stitches. Sharing the hilarious interaction of the duo on December 19, 2026, the Instagram user shared that Korean hairstylists were too honest for him.
Instagram user Andrew paid a visit to a Korean hairstylist, Kim Sukyong (@su_hair1), who is often known for brutal honesty. Right when Andrew sat on the chair, her first question baffled him. With curiosity, she asked him, "Do you have a girlfriend?" Andrew, who was taken aback by the question, replied no, to which she hit him with an unexpected response that left him speechless. She told him she guessed it right away, since he needed a good hairstyle. Ouch, that must have hurt. Andrew asked her if women liked grey hair, since he had been greying lately, to which, without any hesitation, she replied, "You look old." When Andrew asked her to guess his age, she replied 50. Funnily, Andrew, who is just 38 years of age, was shocked to hear her reply. However, her roast did not end here.
She went on to describe his head, saying that it looked like a cone that resembled the outer shell of a peanut. "We need to fix this," she said while pointing at his hairy beard, as Andrew looked stunned by her brutal honesty. Going by his reaction, it does not appear that he had recovered from her sassy responses. Sharing the hilarious interaction online, the Instagram user wrote, "Korean hairstylists are too honest for me." In a follow-up video, the hairdresser dyed his hair and gave him a haircut that matched his frame. The Instagram user did not take her remarks seriously and appeared to take them with a good sense of humor.
Andrew's video gained massive attention from online users who couldn't hold back their laughter at her jokes. @alefacchetti90 wrote, "It is a good marketing strategy, so you start with a haircut, followed by dying your hair, and then get your beard trimmed." @artemrzk commented, "Would you rather have an American who would tell you how handsome you are for the tip and the moment you leave, talk sh*t about you?" @rckrbn wrote, "I always find out the worst horrors of my head when I'm at the salon. Your ears are too far forward, your hair is cottony, your hair is fine, and your cheekbones are high. Like hell, now I cut my own hair. I can't handle the roasting."
