Getting kids to listen, especially when it comes to chores, can be a bit of a headache. Something as simple as making their bed can be forgotten or sidelined, and it really stresses parents out. Yelling or threatening kids doesn’t work and parents have to find some creative solution to get kids to listen. A dad, who goes by u/labuzan, shared an interesting final resort he thought up after his kids refused to put their dishes in the dishwasher. The dad, like any other parent, was frustrated and came up with a top-notch way to parent and get his kids to do the job.

Sharing his remarkable idea, the dad wrote, “My teenagers refuse to put their dishes in the dishwasher. So I put this above the sink.” Above the sink stood a piece of paper with the most unexpected and hysterically horrifying threat. Portraying the actor Liam Neeson’s tough and serious role from the movie “Taken,” the iconic dialogue focuses on the actor on call threatening the villain to save his loved one who was abducted.

The original lines read, "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you." Neeson depicts a very serious and solid look and stature but the dad tops it with his creativity. The witty letter included a picture of Neeson on call from the iconic still in the movie and was followed by a rewrite of the dialogue.

He directed the threat towards his kids in a light-hearted manner and rephrased the dialogue as per his requirement. The dad’s improvised threat read, “I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for a maid to clean up after you, I can tell you I don't do that, but what I do have is a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long lifetime. Skills that make me an expert in WiFi systems and Cellular Data Plans. If you clean up your kitchen mess, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will disconnect you."

The dad had found the key to getting the kids to listen and act and his mind-blowing plan is sure to yield a fruitful and memorable result. Several people enjoyed the dad’s perfectly planned warning. Many were so thrilled by it that they considered it better than all other memes that were created with the scene. u/MrSleazyMan said, “Liam Neeson in the 12th installment of the series. ‘Taken: Internet Privileges.’” u/Equalizer101 added, “I need a copy of that note.” u/SecretlyGlitterSh said, “Parenting win!”
