She was in her car and saw a homeless man on the street, so she decided to give him the packet of food she had. Brook, seated in the driver’s seat, called out to him through her car window and offered the food package. While the man could not be seen in the shared clip, it appeared he took the package and first checked what was inside. Then he gave it back to her and said, “Bad news, I am Jewish. There’s nothing in that bag for a Jew. We have our rules.” She responded cautiously, saying, "Oh, okay." But soon, the man asked to explore vegan options and if he could get in her car if she didn't mind. She replied that she had to go to work. The man then began directing a stream of unsolicited compliments at her.
At one point, he said, “I am starting to fall in love, I am getting lost in your eyes.” Brook's reaction suggested she was feeling uncomfortable and scared. He also thanked her for stopping and said she handled his refusal to take the food better than most people, who might have gotten angry. Brook even apologized, “I thought I would get you lunch, but sorry it didn’t work out.” However, once the food offer was settled, the man shifted the conversation, veering into what felt like flirtatious remarks. “You are so beautiful,” “This is the highlight of my day,” and “I feel like floating on air" were among the comments the man made to Brook.
It seemed as if the man did not want to end the conversation quickly. Brook found herself stuck. Even after wishing him a good day and attempting to drive away, he continued making remarks the very next moment. He probably had no idea that the entire incident was being filmed because the camera was placed on the woman's lap and was not visible to him. The interaction lasted a full 90 seconds, even though he had refused the food almost immediately. As soon as she drove off, she admitted in the video, “I was so scared.”
