Husband filmed his wife serenading him until they spotted their neighbor's actions in their video — they couldn't stop laughing
We all love surprises but when they’re met with unexpected generosity and impromptu kindness from a stranger, it makes it even more unforgettable. A woman named Colleen Stumbles (@stumblesclan) shared how she planned to give her husband a surprise with a dance and sing-along session from her car while she drove in, per PEOPLE. She had been doing these mini dances on her driveway now and then to bring a smile to her man’s face. This time, too, she expected to do the same. However, while her husband was capturing her, it was not just her actions that brought a smile on his face but that of her neighbor, Will's, who joined in at random.
“Every now and then, I pull into our driveway with loud music, serenading my husband to make him smile after a long week,” she explained. She added that she doesn’t really plan or practice anything; she just “unwinds” and has fun while attempting to make her man happy. So she pulled into her driveway, blasted the music inside her car, got out and started performing with full enthusiasm. She was focused on her music, her moves and her husband. Meanwhile, Will spotted her fun dance and decided to join in. Standing across the street outside his door, he pretended to be a background dancer and incorporated moves in sync.
The man seemed very jolly, trying to blend in. He didn’t come forward, nor distract Colleen from her performance. He wanted her to have the center stage but also joined in their happiness. “I only realised when my husband showed me the video after we went inside. I had no idea the neighbor was dancing behind me, so I was completely surprised,” the woman remarked. The woman noted how her husband was just all smiles like he usually was, so it didn't strike her that there was the sweetest thing going on behind her. Speaking about her neighbor, Colleen mentioned how Will has been a friendly and kind neighbor, and the duo have interacted like most neighbors do but the magical performance was out of the blue.
“I’m so happy he captured it; it made the whole moment even more hilarious, sweet, and unforgettable,” she noted. After sharing the video, it went viral for the coordination and unity in their little act. What caught the eye of many was how clueless Colleen was whilst she got a wholebakcup dancer. The duo even considered making it a tradition. “This was the most unexpected and honestly iconic crossover I’ve ever experienced,” Colleen said. Apart from being a wholesome gesture, it has also left her with a precious lesson.
“Will’s little backup dance really made me laugh and reminded me to be thankful for the small joys in life. Moments like that, having awesome neighbours and shared laughs, are what really stick with you,” she mentioned.
