Jelly Roll once paid $700 for five cups of lemonade totaling $2.50 — all because of a hardworking little girl

The American rapper and singer stopped by a streetside lemonade stand operated by a little girl and made her day.

A lot of kids have set up their lemonade stands by the road or outside their homes to make some cash during their holidays. Making a few hundred dollars by selling lemonade doesn't sound like a bad deal for the preteens. So, what happens when a famous personality stops by your lemonade stand one summer? What if they hand you more cash than your imagination, solely to support your hard work and enthusiasm? That's what 3 youngsters from Utah got to experience upon setting up their lemonade stand and then Jelly Roll stopped by for a drink

In a video shared by the American rapper and songwriter on his official YouTube Page, he approached the lemonade stand on a sidewalk. The stand was managed by two little girls and a boy. "Hey, we got some people in the car. I need 3 lemonades and 2 orange juice," Jelly Roll requested the young business owners. Upon asking how much he owed them, one of the little girls replied, "$2 and 50 cents." Smiling at the kids, Jelly Roll fished out his wallet and told the girls how thirsty he and the people in the car were. 

"We wanted to come to bless y'all today. Oh, we don't need any change. You can keep that tip, okay baby? You go buy yourself something really nice, all right? Because you worked hard," Jelly Roll complimented the girls while handing them crisp $100 bills that made almost $700. In utter disbelief and joy, one of the little girls giggled and covered her face with her hands. "I think my dad likes you," the oldest of the girls told the musician. Then the 3 kids went up to stand by him and click some wholesome pictures. "Have a great day okay? Save some of that money," Jelly Roll advised the youngsters before bidding them goodbye.



 

A woman from Utah named Wendy Gardunio took to her Facebook page to elaborate on the sweet interaction with the rapper. Gardunio wrote in her post that it was her daughter and her cousins who had set up the lemonade stand in August 2024. Jelly Roll came to spread some positive energy and lots of love to the youngsters while he was in the West Valley area of Utah. "So today was an interesting day. My kid and her cousins wanted to do a lemonade stand. They had a famous singer come and buy some lemonade. Who would have thought that we would run into Jelly Roll in West Valley? And for him to be so generous with giving them almost $700!" Gardunio added in the caption of her Facebook post alongside the adorable pictures the kids took with the musician.

The comment section also applauded Jelly Roll and his act of kindness that just might become a core memory for the kids. Jennifer Gorostieta wrote, "That's so cool! Once in a lifetime deal for these kiddos!" Sarah Amelia commented, "Jelly Roll, you are awesome man! You are such an inspiration for everyone." Daniel Modesto commented, "That’s awesome. I took my kids out for a walk today and saw the stand around 1 p.m. Also, Jelly Roll is one cool artist." Alecia Conder added, "Good soul right there! I love this! He supports the kids and that hustle!"
