Man installed camera to catch culprit leaving a slew of newspapers in his backyard — he was stunned by epic camera footage
We have the paperboys to deliver the daily newspapers to our doorsteps. In other cases, we can just buy newspapers from magazines and newsstands. However, a man from North Carolina never expected in his wildest dreams to get newspapers delivered to his porch by an unexpected fellow, per FOX8. The man named James Eubanks was opening his backyard each day only to get baffled by the sudden appearance of newspaper heaps outside. At first, Eubanks did not think much about it and simply removed the newspapers.
But the mysterious appearances of newspapers did not stop. Eubanks told the outlet that he had stumbled upon at least nine Yellow Pages phone books outside his door at one point. Eubanks finally made up his mind to set up a night vision camera to capture the culprit's strange activities. The video he obtained had something that Eubanks least expected to see. In the night vision camera footage, Eubanks saw a group of foxes bringing in those newspapers to his backyard from his neighbor's porch. ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
"It clearly showed him with a newspaper. I had no idea we were going to find foxes,” Eubanks told the news outlet, adding that there were about 3 mischievous foxes who would frequently show up with the newspapers. “Without the pictures, no one would believe it. I assure you," he added. Speaking to FOX8 WHGP, Eubanks mentioned that he had roughly picked up 10 newspapers at a time as well. ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
While the reason behind the foxes giving newspaper service to Eubanks remained a mystery, another interaction between a woman and a squirrel had a story behind it. @ethznn on TikTok shared an interesting video that captured a heartfelt but indirect interaction between a woman and a squirrel. Even though the original video was deleted, u/i-am-ampersand on Reddit reshared it. In the video that was captured by the security camera mounted at the entrance of the woman's house, we could see her climbing up the stairs with a package in her hand. Placed on an elevation by the door was a cookie. The woman appeared puzzled and looked around to figure out how that edible ended up in an odd place like that. Another footage attached to the first one solved the mystery behind the appearance of the cookie. A squirrel had carefully climbed up the rails while carrying the cookie in its mouth before placing it near the entrance of the woman's house. The squirrel didn't linger around and made its way back. However, the rodent had a special reason behind its surprising gesture. The woman had been feeding the same squirrel every day at her home and it had become a regular visitor. To thank the lady for her generosity, the squirrel had brought a single cookie for her.
