Halloween is not just about dressing up as various pop culture and horror icons. It's also about unleashing your creativity with decorations and even cooking up something that looks creepy but delicious enough to be the Halloween meal of a family. A mom named Lav (@eventful_lav on TikTok) shared a video that channeled the grotesque theme of Halloween as well as made people on the internet crack up. "TikTok please don't ban me for this. You win some you lose some. Feet loaf. 2/10," the caption of her video read. The video raked up over 2 million views and counting.

Lav decided to try her hand at making a meatloaf for her family. Since it's Halloween season, an ordinary meatloaf wouldn't do. So Lav decided to shape and sculpt her meatloaf into large feet on the baking tray. She even added some interesting details like using slices of onions to mimic toenails and bones on the feet. This recipe has been on the rise lately and the internet has dubbed it the "feet loaf." Just like others trying out the trending Halloween recipe, Lav expected her "feet loaf" to turn out as she desired but ended up with results that weren't quite spectacular.

After pulling the "feet loaf" out of the oven she probably did not pass on the idea of posing as the fun mom who makes DIY stuff on Halloween. The onion slices blackened up to give the "feet loaf" an even more horrifying look. The heat of the oven has brought out the oils and juices from the meat, making the whole tray look like anything but edible material. The ketchup decoration to mimic spilled blood isn't helping the "feet loaf" look appetizing either. The comment section exploded into hilarious remarks and suggestions on how the recipe could have been fixed.

@myknicwalk complimented, "What do you mean?! It turned out exactly how it was supposed to! Looks great." Lav responded to this comment and wrote, "I thought it would be a cute fun dinner, but the kids thought it looked gross lol. But thank you!" @kristennicole90 commented, "As someone who won’t eat something based on its looks, I would die. I didn’t buy strawberry jam today because it looked like marinara sauce." @gont008 mentioned, "10/10 this is so cute my whole house is in love you killed it this is such a neat idea and you brought it to life perfectly!" @brookshireacreshomestead added, "I made brains for breakfast today cinnamon rolls with raspberry mixed into the icing on top! The kids didn’t mind that it looked just like brains."

In a follow-up video, Lav responded to a commentator who was asking for instructions to make a "feet loaf." "So a lot of you want a tutorial but I don't think I'll be making these again," Lav said in her video while showing the botched Halloween dish in the background. "They're quite a bit of work and ground beef is expensive. But I did make a list with my best tips to make it a little bit easier

if you want to try this for your Halloween dinner." She added all the ingredients to a list and put it in her video, hoping it would work for others. Along with ground beef, Lav mentioned that if people want their toast to be crispier then they need to drain out the grease from the "feet loaf" halfway through cooking. "Enjoy terrorizing your family or your dinner guests with the delicious feet loaf," she concluded.
