Mom discovers kids going hilariously 'wild' after finding an electric shaver and her response is top-notch
Anything around toddlers can hysterically turn into a disaster and that’s just how it is. However, there are also adorable and memorable bits that come out of the experience, depending on how you react. A mom named Stephie Leigh shared an unruly yet hilarious visual she came to after leaving her toddler and his siblings unattended with an electric shaver. Ian Hagadorn (@itsiannn) shared a glimpse of the footage Leigh captured and it is as funny as it gets. However, to step in as a mom and take control of the situation, the woman rendered a sweet response that kept the kids from a full-blown meltdown.
An event that had the mom in tears ended in something tolerable, thanks to the mom’s composure. “Teddy found the electric shaver,” the mom remarked while laughing but also crying in her video before turning the camera towards her toddler. Teddy had unfortunately shaved the hair off his head in the most random manner. With chunks of hair hanging by his head and a few portions of hair intact, the rest was wiped out by the shaver. While this is a classic response from a toddler with a shaver, the comedy didn’t end there. He went to his little sister who had the cutest ponytails and shaved the entire back portion of her hair. All that was left were her secured two ponytails and her hair in the front.
In tears, seeing her kids starting to freak out, she turned to her little girl and asked, “Do you like your new haircut?” “No,” the tiny tot immediately replied. Leigh burst out laughing at the scene and couldn’t help but make her kids laugh too. “Why’d you let your brother do that?” she asked. But the boy confidently let the mom know that his sister asked for the same. “It’s okay, it’s just hair, it grows back,” she remarked, trying to calm herself down. The mom wasn’t too delighted to add that her other son, Fred, too, had a little hair styling done thanks to the hairy affair.
“Mom, I look like a boy,” the little girl said, getting worried about her appearance. However, her mother supportively assured her, “No, you don't, you're beautiful.” The mom decided to give both her boys a buzz cut eventually, per CBS New York. A follow-up video showed that they were excited with their “no-hair” look. Excitedly posing with their freshly shaved heads, the brothers together posed in unison, feeling proud of their little error. The mom is being praised for her honest reaction and yet being able to cover up and control the situation.
Though overwhelmed by having all three kids mess up their hair, the mom immediately turned the memory into a light-hearted one with her response. @unapologhetto said, “The way this woman handled the situation is amazing.” @jadeamomo remarked, “She is so much more calm than I would ever be.” @simplyy_sofi added, “I love how she was freaked out but didn’t show it too much for them to freak out. She assured her kids saying, ‘It’s okay, it’s just hair, it will grow back, you still look like a girl, we can fix it.’”
