Mom was happily looking at the portrait her son drew of her until she noticed 'mustache' — she was not ready for it

Most kids are absolutely honest and downright blunt. They have no filters and for them, everything in this world is perfect and beautiful. A kid had a similar perception of his mom's facial hair and it left her speechless.  The mom, Valeria Fernandez (who goes by @itsvalifernandez on TikTok), shared her son's hilarious Mother's Day present and her reaction to it won the internet.

"My son drew me for my Mother's Day gift and he made sure to include my 'little mustache.' I was trying not to laugh," the text overlay read. In the video, the boy came to his mom while holding a paper in his arms. He slowly revealed the drawing he had made of his mom's face. The child had also written, "I love you!" with stencil letters. His mom gasped when she saw the drawing and said, "Oh, I love it!" She added, "Thank you so much," with utmost enthusiasm to encourage her kid. She pointed at one part of the drawing and asked, "Is that my smile?" The boy confirmed that it was indeed her smile."What is this?" the mom asked, pointing at a little wavy line beneath her nose and was quite surprised by the answer.

"You have a little mustache, like, just like I do," the boy said, without missing a beat. "Oh, you are right," Fernandez agreed with him and even managed to keep her composure. "I love it so much. Thank you for drawing me," the woman expressed as she took the drawing and gave the boy a big hug for the gift. The caption read, "You have a mustache like me!" The video received more than 15.5 million views and over 2.3 million likes. Most of the comments echoed the love for the mom's calm reaction and some people went on to similar incidents.

When she first started drawing me, it looked like a third eye." @jenny_323_ remarked, "I get acne while being pregnant because of my hormones. My daughter drew me and added my pimples. She’ll be a teen soon and I remembered that, lol." @mikagreenbeans shared, "That's adorable. Honestly, it shows that kids see women's facial hair as something natural and normal. Us adults just get inside our heads too much."

@resettimouse expressed, "I think by 'mustache' he meant the little dip under the nose. I don't know what that's called either, but maybe he means that? I love how loving and positive you are.
