Mom was surprised when 6-year-old son bought flowers for her with his money — then she realized who inspired him

Nothing brings more joy than watching your kids learning the right things and become better humans day after day. A mom named Kaisa–who goes by @kaisacoats on Instagram–revealed that when she saw her 6-year-old son bring her flowers, she was touched. When she pondered how he might have gotten the thought, she went back down memory lane and realized there had been an active force inspiring her son to become the gentleman he was growing into. The flowers were not just a random decision but a well-thought-out and well-inspired gesture with all the right and thoughtful feelings.

Kaisa revealed that her 6-year-old son surprised her with flowers and bought them with his own money. In her video, she showed her little boy rushing towards her with a bouquet, feeling shy but excited. The mom was overwhelmed with love on receiving the gift. However, when she tried to look back and wonder what could have possibly given him the idea, she was even more in awe. “I realized it’s because he’s seen this his whole life,” the mom wrote in the text overlay. Along with it, she shared glimpses of her partner approaching her with flowers every now and then.

Compiling different and random instances when her partner brought her flowers, she realized that her son had been observing and had picked up on the habit. Right from random Tuesdays to special occasions, Kaisa received flowers from her husband with a delightful smile and her 6-year-old exercised the same when he approached his mum with a bouquet. A neuropsychologist, Tamaura Viera, commented on a post and said that though children are not a direct reflection of parents, many of their mannerisms are influenced by parents.

“While children are influenced by their parents and the environment, it's inaccurate to say they are simply reflections of their parents,” she wrote. Explaining further, she noted that the environment and other factors also play a role in deciding how a child’s personality might turn out. “A child's personality and behavior are also influenced by genetics. The environment, including the family, community and culture, also play a crucial role,” she added. The neurophysicist further mentioned that kids take on these mannerisms after careful interpretation and understanding.

“Children are not simply passive recipients of parental influence; they actively interpret and process the information and experiences they encounter, developing their own unique perspectives and behaviors,” Viera wrote. It’s safe to say that the little boy was observing his dad bringing Kaisa flowers, pondering it and choosing to do the same for his mother. “I’m going to have to figure out how to make these flowers last forever," the mom wrote in the caption.
"They’re always watching, I’m so thankful for the example my children have,” she added. People were in awe of the gentleman this little boy was growing up to be. @graciedalytonlynn said, “I’d cry. You were the first girl he ever got flowers for.” @chronically_rin added, “He’s going to grow up to be a good man.” @bubz.onepeng remarked, “He looks so happy giving it to you, too.”
