Juggling parenting and work might not be the easiest thing. But a little support and understanding from people around a parent can make all the difference. A mom who works from home while staying with her two kids experienced that kind of support from her coworkers. The woman had to attend a work meeting with her eight-month-old baby in her lap. However, she was not expecting the response she received from one person on the call. The mom, Jessica, who goes by @jesspe_21 on TikTok, shared the interaction with the platform. The clip received over 2.8 million views.

Jessica shared that her baby was almost never in the meetings with her. But her husband had received a work call. So she signaled to him to give the baby to her as her meeting was about to end. The text overlay of the video read, "Imagine telling me that I am going to get fired once my coworkers find out I am working from home with my baby and these are the said coworkers." The coworker on call was wrapping up the meeting when they brought up that they had a baby on the team call. "Lift her little head up so we can have a look at that cutie little one." Once Jessica lifted the baby up to the camera, all of her coworkers greeted her baby with loads of excitement and gushing. "Oh my goodness. Smiley, happy, I love it," one coworker remarked.

@jesspe_21 FEW THINGS: My baby is almost never in meetings. My husband got a work call and I signaled for him to give her to me since the meeting was wrapping up. I’ve worked from home with my kids for 3 years at this company, NO issues. Everyone in my company knows I work from home with my babes, and guess what? I’m not the only one 🤭 it IS possible to have a company that values work life balance. It may not be something you’ve seen often, but I promise these jobs are out there. 🤗 #workfromhome #workfromhomemom #wfhlife #wfh #momlife ♬ nhạc nền - Old Songs Old Memories

"Alright, now you all have had your baby fix, this is the beautiful part, we can look at the baby and then we can leave the baby," a coworker continued. Jessica joked that she was going to leave the video on and step away, so her coworkers could babysit her daughter for some time. "Don't let her do anything, okay?" People laughed and said their goodbyes. The caption read, "I've worked from home with my kids for three years at this company, no issues." The mom went on, "Everyone in my company knows I work from home with my babes and guess what? I’m not the only one. It is possible to have a company that values work-life balance."

"It may not be something you’ve seen often, but I promise these jobs are out there," Jessica expressed. People applauded the supportive coworkers for their reaction in the comments section of the video. @annalorel wrote, "One time, my son was singing incoherently in the background on a client's call. I said I'm sorry, it's my 5-year-old. They said, Oh, thank God, I thought your coworker was weird, lol." @breannadavisss commented, "My work from home job literally gives me assignments that don’t require phone calls because I have children. There are good employers out there!"

@nicole.maureen remarked, "I called my insurance and the woman worked from home. She was trying to keep her kids quiet and I was like, girl, don’t worry, I’m hiding from mine in my room right now. We both were laughing." @cme0233 shared, "I love supportive work environments! My boss was one of the first people I told when I was pregnant. She’d never fire me for working while holding my baby." @gilliansewsthings expressed, "If I’m running a training or a meeting and hear a baby, the rule is that they need to show off their baby. It’s the baby tax and it’s my favourite part of the day." In another video, Jessica shared her struggles of working while her baby starts waking up early from a nap.

@jesspe_21 It’s always the nap you plan on getting the most work done during 😫 #wfhm #wfh #workfromhome #workingmom ♬ original sound - | Nikki Rossi |
