Pregnant woman sat between an older couple who barely spoke throughout the flight — the husband's demand after landing left her baffled
Passengers are often eager to get off the plane as soon as it lands, leaving those in the middle and window seats waiting for the aisle to clear. But not everyone has the same patience. Rach, who goes by @movenourishgrow on Instagram, was left stunned by a fellow passenger's request after landing. In a video shared on October 14, 2026, she explained that she was pregnant, flying alone, and seated between an older married couple who barely spoke during the flight. But once the plane landed, the husband made a request that left her baffled.
As Rach explained, she was seated in the middle, with the husband by the window and his wife in the aisle seat. The couple had barely spoken to each other throughout the flight, so she was surprised when the man suddenly asked her to move after they landed. While his wife had already gotten up, he told her, “I would like to get off the plane with my wife.” Rach was confused. Only a few rows had started getting off; the aisle was already packed with passengers, and she was pregnant. There was simply nowhere for her to go, even if she'd wanted to move. Rach stood her ground, refused to move, and explained that there was simply nowhere for her to go.
Rach also pointed out that her bag was already in the overhead space above the wife's seat, and there was no room for her to squeeze out of the way. Since the aisle was full of people standing up and gathering their belongings, moving would have meant awkwardly climbing over others, something she certainly wasn't going to attempt while pregnant. The man's wife kept telling him it was fine, but the husband continued giving Rach an annoyed stare.
The couple eventually walked off the plane with her still between them, just as they had been seated during the flight. Rach also gave a funny detail she noticed. His wife didn't stop in the aisle, on the jet bridge, or even near the gate to wait for him. They still made it off the plane just fine.
