Every tourist or locals visiting Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle have at least one thing on their bucket list. People simply do not want to miss out on taking pictures or clips of the royal guards on duty. It is strictly prohibited to make any physical contact with the guards on duty but tourists are free to snap pictures with them for sure. According to Daily Mail, an adorable 4-year-old boy decided to dress up as the royal guards, topped with the iconic bearskin headdress and waited patiently to take a picture with the guards. The incident took place in 2017 when the boy, identified as Marshall Scott, visited Windsor Castle on his birthday with his mom Imogen.

In a video captured by a fellow visitor Joana Feng, (@joanna___feng on Instagram), we could see Scott standing politely by the side of the road as a group of four Coldstream Guards marched past him and entered the castle. Scott stood by the gates, waiting for his chance to take a picture along with his mom Imogen when one of the guards showed up to gift the little boy a memorable birthday picture. Lance Corporal Paul Edden, posed for a photo with Scott and the delighted little kid even gave a salute. "He is very patriotic and says the Queen is lovely and beautiful," Imogen told the news outlet about her son. "He wanted to visit the castle for his birthday but just had no idea what would happen. We are so overwhelmed and thankful for everything."

Scott's 4th birthday was made extra special when a group of girls sang the birthday song to wish Scott outside the castle. Meanwhile, Feng took a separate picture with the mini guard and shared the photo on her Instagram page. "It's unbelievable, that the video is spread to the wide world. I was really lucky to meet Marshall on his 4th birthday. That was also one of the best moments in my life. Very grateful for the kindness and niceness of the world. Hope all the beautiful moments can be recorded. Best wishes to cute Marshall's beautiful childhood all the way," Feng wrote in the caption of her post.

According to the new outlet, Imogen also elaborated on the incident on her Facebook page which might have become a core memory for Scott. "Can't believe how good Marshall's birthday has been. We want to say thank you to all the people who stopped to have photos with him and wished him a happy birthday, to the family that bought him a soldier teddy and to the group of girls that got everyone to sing happy birthday to him. Definitely to the soldier who, after his march, stopped all the other soldiers from coming back to Marshall to have photos with him. So the soldier that came back for a photo with Marshall has messaged me and offered Marshall a tour of Windsor Castle. Is this even real?"

The comments section was equally blown over by the cute gestures of Scott and wished him a bright future ahead. @pantastic5150 commented, "That was such a wonderful memory you captured for Marshall. Thank You for sharing with us. I think he needs a play date with Prince George." @scsihouse quipped, "I was having a crappy day and praying for God to help me up and this video just made my day! Thank you for capturing this magical, human moment!" @lindaboccia added, "A sweet moment for a young boy enamored with the Queen's Guards. A very generous thing for the Guard to return and pose with him." The official YouTube account of Daily Mail also circulated the original footage by Feng.
