Robert Irwin, the son of "The Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin, has been successfully continuing his family's legacy of wildlife conservation in Australia. Just like his parents, Robert, too, is known for his unbelievably close-up interaction with wild animals. Growing up around people who deeply loved wildlife, it was obvious for Robert to develop respect and compassion instead of fear for animals. But do you know what is the driving force behind the Australian conservationist's bravery? Well, a wholesome video posted by Tayla McFarlane (@taywahh) on TikTok captured Robert disclosing the secret behind his fearlessness.

In the video, Robert is seen interacting with people when a little girl from the crowd asks, "How did you get so brave?" At first, Robert looks taken aback, clearly overwhelmed by the innocent question. "That is very sweet, thank you! That is a very good question," he says, expressing his gratitude. Then, he goes on to credit his family for always supporting him and providing him with all the strength. Robert adds, "You know what? I think I have a really beautiful family around me. And you know, the thing is, there is a difference between bravery and being frightened."

Moreover, the young conservationist confesses that while interacting with wild animals, he is frightened all the time, but how he responds to that fear makes all the difference. "People you keep around you help to lift you and keep you brave and courageous," Robert adds. At the end, the little girl, who seems quite convinced by his answer, announces her plan to attend the next crocodile show. To this, Robert responds, "You are going to the crocodile show? I will be brave then. I will try really hard."

The video went viral for the little girl's thought-provoking question and Robert's powerful response. A user, @_rhi2dee2, commented, "Can we just talk about how incredible that message was? To be 21 years old and articulate a response like that, especially a message that is so important, not just for children to hear, but for an adult, that’s so incredible. Props to Rob." @arimultifandom said, "Terri deserves more recognition for how wonderful she has done with balancing EVERYTHING. Grieving, motherhood, running the zoo, and still remaining so positive and keeping Steve’s memory alive." @eclecticwitch313 pointed out, "He is becoming what his father was for our generation. I am sobbing! Oh my god! Steve would be so proud." @jbaddy44 noted, "I need Terri Irwin to write a parenting book because she is an incredible mother, and the proof is her amazing children."

@robertwhitneykear confessed, "I remember thinking we'll never be privileged enough for another Steve, and Robert stepped up and said, 'Hold my water bottle.'" @itsallman93 confessed, "Steve Irwin was unarguably the best human being on planet earth, and now his son is exactly that. Such genuine beings." On the other hand, @kaylee8509 commented, "I love that he says it’s still scary; he just works really hard to overcome it with his support system." @amysworld_xx pointed out, "He even speaks like his dad and has the kindness his dad had, too. Shows you how much having loving parents helps you."
