One of the frightful things that has many in chills is asking their loved ones out, especially on occasions like Valentine’s Day. While it may seem adorable, it is an uneasy and uptight situation to be the one asking. People take great pains to plan the perfect proposal and still have to wait until the moment to know whether it worked or not. A teenager, who goes by u/ZadiaChan, revealed that she wanted to ask her crush out on Valentine’s. While teenage love can be cute, it is also jittering to the younger generation just venturing into the field. She posed the question by expressing all of her nervousness and wondered how bad the response could be. Instead, she received an adorable reply that's winning the internet.

“I asked him to be my Valentine. I had tears in my eyes, I was so scared,” she remarked. She shared a screenshot of the text she sent. It was a picture of an emoji holding a bouquet with the question, “So, like, you tryna be my Valentine?” Below the same, the woman wrote the cutest message. She said, “Sending this with the ‘Send Later’ thing Apple has because I can’t bring myself to send it and wait.” She unleashed all truth in the message and added, “After this sends, I will probably have tossed my phone into an ocean. I thought I should ask you about the plot. Also, I’m serious.” After what must have felt like an eternity, she finally received a reply and was baffled.

The boy replied with a smiley emoji and said, “Hell yeah.” He also apologized for a “late reply,” saying that he had to “take a breather.” “This has literally never happened to me before,” he wrote. What hit it off for the girl was that he also was unhinged and went all out in honesty to reply to her. “As the text hit my phone, I was laying in bed thinking about whether I should ask you.” He adorably concluded by writing, “You should have seen the way I squealed, giggled and then kicked my feet when I saw the picture.” Before any thinking caps could come on, the girl shared in a comment that she was 17 years and he was 18.

For a teenage love, this is adorably pleasant. She also noted, “What he said might be cringe to some but he responded exactly how I was hoping.” In another comment, the woman explained that she met the guy in school and has been crushing on him ever since. She also pointed out, “Everyone told me that I needed to wait for him but I needed a response or I would combust.” Wishing the best to both, people shared in their joy.

Most men want to feel wanted too and it was probably amazing to get to be on the receiving end. Good stuff.” u/restingfichbace said, “This is like the most pure and perfect thing I’ve ever seen on Reddit.”
