She checked the pet camera when her normally quick-replying boyfriend went silent. What she saw became the ‘biggest green flag'
Waiting on a reply from a loved one can be unsettling, especially when silence is out of character. It's not the unanswered message that worries you, but the thought of what might be happening on the other side. When pet owner Brianna (@kodacorso) was at work, she texted her boyfriend. But he did not reply for a long time, which was unusual for him. In a clip she posted on Instagram on December 5, 2025, she shared that, after her text went unanswered, she turned to one that could give her answers: a pet camera at her home. With one tap, she found out what exactly was keeping her boyfriend busy, and it wasn't what she had imagined. The video quickly went viral, garnering over 32 million views and 1.9 million likes.
In the video, Brianna showed that her boyfriend and her dog were roughhousing in their living room. She explained that he normally replies as soon as he reaches home, but this time he did not, and she got worried. She has a Furbo pet camera set up in the living room and decided to check in on both her boyfriend and her Cane Corso, Koda, she told Newsweek. When she saw the two having a wrestling match, she felt relieved and also laughed at the two of them, according to the outlet. "Just boys being boys," read her Instagram caption, where her boyfriend and a black pup were seen roughhousing. She added, "My boyfriend does jiu-jitsu, so he'll always practice some moves on him."
The viewers found the playful time to be a "very valid reason" for unseen texts. One user remarked, "That dude is one of the biggest green flags I have seen all year." "Dog be like: I am a professional wrestler," joked @pranshul129. @mrsshaistrahin recounted her own experience with a pet, saying, "I was wrestling my Corso and annoying him so bad… He stood on me and wouldn’t let me back up for, like, 10 seconds." Meanwhile, @srimanthula_bindu requested, "Come on, play the full video and tell us who won."
Roughhousing might look fun; however, pet parents need to be more careful, as it can be complicated, too. According to Allegiant K9s, wrestling between a pet owner and a dog seems harmless, but sometimes this can also teach unwanted behaviors if done without clear boundaries and control over the canine. Experts suggest that without cues like "gentle" or "easy," your pet may not learn when to stop, which can lead to confusion between play and dominance for the dog.
Another article by Dogtopia on dog behaviour suggests that it is really important to understand the difference between safe play and real aggression for all dog owners. Body language signs like relaxed posture indicate healthy rough play, while stiff bodies or intense biting can cause the fun play to turn too rough. So, while roughhousing is fun, it is very important to be cautious and follow proper rules.
