She was furious over BFF's boyfriend cheating on her. So she exacted revenge by posing as a 'nurse' delivering devastating news

She maintained a professional tone to make sure she was not caught, and the BFF's boyfriend didn't get suspicious.

There’s no easy way to react when you discover someone you care about is being betrayed. Of course, the first instinct is to confront the deceiver, maybe even go a step further and make them face the consequences of what they’ve done. But how that punishment takes shape is where things can get unexpectedly creative. TikTok user Chloe Smith, who also goes by @chloe.xoxo.smith, chose a very unique option. When she discovered her best friend's boyfriend, Adrian, cheating on her friend, she decided to mimic a nurse and give him some unsettling "bad news." She even recorded the conversation and shared it on TikTok on Monday, April 13, 2026.

After calling him and pretending to be a nurse, she very calmly mentioned that he had been listed as a contact after someone tested positive for an infection. Smith maintained a professional tone to make sure she was not caught, and Adrian didn't get suspicious. She also informed him that he needed to come in for a test to ensure he was not carrying the same infection. Adrian sounded extremely confused and wanted to know who that person was, but Smith said that information was confidential. She did not even reveal what the infection was at any point. Throughout the exchange, the creator shared as little information as possible to prolong the man's unease.

As the call continued, Adrian began asking if there was any chance he could be immune, even questioning the likelihood of having anything at all. The way he framed it stood out because instead of denying anything, he seemed more concerned about the odds. For many watching, that alone raised eyebrows. But what really sealed it was what came next. When Smith mentioned that even if he somehow didn’t have it, if he had multiple partners, they would need to be tested as well, and he didn’t push back or correct her. That moment, more than anything else, left people stunned.

More than the idea itself, the comment section focused on the way Smith carried out the act. Many even said she sounded more convincing than actual professionals, which helped sustain the conversation and further irritate the man. @crystalfaulkner82 mentioned, "You sounded so professional and legit," while @thetrishajordan noted, "The fact you held an actual, accurate conversation about infection control and this was his genuine reaction." But the general consensus was that they would all want a best friend like her. For example, @sassycountrymama praised, "You are absolutely a rock star of a best friend."

Some also commented on how Adrian became angry when she refused to give him more information, going so far as to tell her that she sounded like someone who would give STIs to others, and even body-shaming her. This was more than enough proof that Smith's little prank worked in riling him up. This won’t take away the hurt her friend would feel or suddenly make him a better person. It does, however, leave behind ironclad proof of his unfaithfulness and the comfort of having someone like Smith by her side. And sometimes, that alone can make a difference during difficult times.
