The woman explained that she had just finished shopping when she noticed the stranger resting against the back of her vehicle. Instead of confronting him, she got into the driver's seat and waited for him to move on his own. She gave several other hints, like starting the car, waiting for a bit, and so on. However, all of them were ignored. Ultimately, she decided “to roll her window down and then hit the gas as hard as possible.” According to Lee, the sudden movement caused the man to lose his balance and fall to the ground. In her words, the impact was so much that the man literally "flew." He immediately reacted with anger, shouting, calling her crazy, and directing insults at her.
