The remark left the woman stunned, but she made sure not to let it influence her personal choices.

Nobody wants a stranger's unsolicited opinion, especially when it crosses a line. Instagram user Alizé recently shared one such experience after a visit to a grocery store while pregnant. During the outing, an elderly woman she had never met before approached her and suggested she pull her shirt down to cover her baby bump. The remark caught her off guard, but she chose not to argue and continued with her day. Shared on June 16, 2026, under the handle @zaezae_, the clip showed her reflecting on the encounter in a lighthearted way. Rather than letting the comment bother her, she decided on a subtle response that would speak for itself if their paths crossed again.

In the video, Alizé explained that the woman approached her while she was shopping and commented on her outfit. Instead of dwelling on the encounter, she decided to have a little fun with it. She revealed that she was wearing a cropped tank top the very next day. After showing her outfit, she joked, “I really hope I see her today because it's showing even more.” The playful remark quickly became one of the standout moments in the video. Instead of changing the way she dressed, she chose to remain comfortable and confident in her clothing.

Her response was not aimed at starting an argument but at showing that a stranger's opinion would not influence how she felt about her appearance during pregnancy. As the video continued, Alizé shared what she believed was the real lesson behind the experience. She said situations like this are exactly why people should “mind your own business” instead of offering unsolicited comments about someone else's body.

She also added a humorous onscreen message that read, “The audacity of strangers during pregnancy needs to be studied.” Respecting personal boundaries can often make everyday interactions more positive for everyone involved. By responding with humor rather than frustration, Alizé turned an awkward moment into a conversation about confidence and the importance of letting people make their own choices without judgment.

Sadly, women are often subjected to unsolicited advice from strangers. In another incident, a young mom faced an uncomfortable moment while breastfeeding her baby in public. She explained that she usually tries to be discreet, but the hot weather made covering up difficult on that day. When a stranger asked her to “cover up,” she responded in a humorous way. Although she was initially surprised by the comment, she later decided to turn the moment into a lighthearted response.

Talking about the nursing cover, she said, “I just put it over my head,” making it clear that she was not looking for an argument. She later encouraged people to show more support, saying, “Just do your thing. It's not hurting anyone.” The incident highlighted the need for more understanding toward mothers handling everyday challenges in public.
