Student thought she had submitted her paper. She was horrified when she saw what she'd actually sent

The student, who had little time to rectify her mistake, couldn't help but laugh at her own goof-up at the end.

Students are well-versed with online submissions and getting assignments done digitally. While it is a hassle-free method, many students will recall the pain it has been to attach files, meet the “11.59” deadlines and whatnot. Apart from these, there are other mishaps we never knew existed until students got a first-hand horrific yet hysterical experience. A woman named Ruth was ready with her submission, all she had to do was upload it to the forum and submit it, per Newsweek. The woman had completed her assignment well and the section showed “uploaded.” She easily sent in her submission until she realized that she had uploaded something that wasn’t her assignment.

Sharing a video on TikTok, the woman revealed how the mysterious file was casually uploading and she had no clue of the hilarious blunder she’d made. Once it was uploaded, Ruth, like any other student was done and decided to call it a day. A few days later, she got the whim to check her submission before the deadline. Scrolling down, she was shocked to find not a file, a document, or any written text but a picture. The picture was a selfie with Ruth casually pouting and posing. Needless to say, the woman was shocked off her chair on seeing what she accidentally sent to a professor instead of an assignment. To think the professor would be expecting some textual material and would receive their student pouting casually on their screen instead. Pretty unhinged!

"If I hadn't checked what I had submitted, I would have never known what I'd done," she said. Unfortunately, the professor allowed only one submission per student. Ruth had already sent it a hysterically adorable file instead and had no choice but to resend the correct file in the comment section with an explanation. "The professor would likely have seen my selfie first before seeing the correct file too," she remarked. Though awkward at the time, the student is over the event and has her laugh about it. Her video was a throwback to the memory and though absurd, she was no longer embarrassed by it. “At least I have proof,” she wrote in her caption. Many joined in her sarcastic submission and comforted her saying the picture looked great. @chailatte88_ remarked, “Face card never declines.”

@pickle5670 exclaimed, “Getting an A+ from me if I’m the professor!” @noukery added, “Accepted and promoted immediately!” @jbnhgaming added, “I know your teacher had a good laugh while grading it.” @plqswxo joked, “Me in my reflection paper.” @hotdog12036 said, “I’m doing this as my senior prank.” Several other students related well to the fear of submitting something so bizarre and leaving their professors in unimaginable thinking. For others, it was a core memory like no other and needed to be tried. @matthewwrotea recalled, “Reminds me of the time I sent the eulogy I wrote for my uncle instead of the report my boss asked me to send.” @leighton_culumare related and said, “I’ve done this and it’s embarrassing because you get only one attempt.”
