Team USA gymnasts recreate Kanye West's iconic Grammy speech after clinching gold and it's so badass
The Olympics 2024 are all the buzz of late and countries are in a fiercely competitive spirit, acquiring medals one after another in phenomenal sportsmanship. One of the victories on everyone’s minds is that of Team USA’s flawless gymnasts who aced their performance in the women’s artistic team all-around event. The team won a gold medal for the country and took the celebrations a notch higher. This win has hit the bar for the USA on the Olympic chart and is very close to each gymnast's heart. Jade Carey, Sunisa Lee, Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera, whose energetic and stunning performances won the hearts of several people, have taken to social media to celebrate the well-earned win, per NME.
Lee topped the savage celebrations by posting a rendition of Kanye West’s iconic 2005 Grammy Speech. She posted a video with the caption, “Olympic gold medalists,” where she and her team boldly lip-synced to the words of the speech. The popular speech rendered by the artist became a viral sensation. As West took his Grammy, he said, “Everybody wants to know what I would do if I didn’t win,” after which he took a victorious pause to show off his Grammy and added, “I guess we’ll never know.”
Lee and her teammates depicted a similar scenario with Lee confidently mouthing the words in the first two lines. Soon after the pause, all the magnificent women appeared together on the screen with their gold medals and with the ultimate triumphant sass, they said, “I guess we’ll never know.” Congratulations poured in for the team as they owned their success and achievement.

I love doing gymnastics, someday I want to go to the Olympics with my family. Gymnastics is the best sport I‘ve ever done. It’s hard but it’s fun.”
