‘The customer is always king’ except in these unhinged hilarious situations in Italy
The idea of "The customer is always right," is royally followed by several businesses across the globe. Whether it's corporate or large-scale workspaces or even customized businesses, every company aims to please its clientele. If you've been to a restaurant, you know that the server and management will go to lengths to serve customers what you need. A good example would be how servers ensure your meal is made with all your specifications- steak medium rare, salad well-seasoned but without tomatoes, etc. However, there is one such space where servers and restaurants will say no to your face and you just have to oblige and rightly so!
Italy is known for its otherwise welcoming hospitality and warmth. With genuine smiles and a heartfelt sense of kindness, all people will acknowledge your presence- until you break some spaghetti or refuse wine. The Italians are very specific when it comes to their etiquette and specialties tied down with tradition and love. Especially with food, every practice and dish is an emotion not to be tampered with. Servers go out of their way to even hysterically call out their customers if they mess with the Italian cuisine. Here are 10 adorable instances of servers from Italy shutting down customers and their bogus requests that has us in splits.
