A person's furry friends might find it especially hard to be away from them for even a moment. So obviously, when their human decides to go travel and stay away for a few days, the pet may want to find a way to tag along. A few people's cats have found the perfect solution — hiding in their owners' suitcases. However, even though it might seem like a legit solution for a cat, humans need to be careful, as being inside a suitcase can be harmful for the animal. Some cat owners shared why they triple-check their luggage every time they leave the house. A couple who goes by @henry.and.leia on TikTok shared their reason behind checking their luggage through a video. The clip received over 160,800 views.

"This is why we triple check our luggage," the text overlay of the video read. Everything looked fine when the couple opened their suitcase. One could only see their clothes and it was not evident at all that there was a cat inside. The woman moved half of the clothes out before she spotted her black cat peeping from the bottom of the suitcase, completely hidden under all the clothes. She let out a gasp of surprise as she noticed her cat. "What are you doing here?" the owner asked, petting the cat. The feline also looked reluctant to get out of her hiding spot and hid her face after being caught.

"He will always find a way to burrow himself underneath our clothes so he can come too," the caption explained. However, the couple aren't the only people to find themselves in such a situation. Many other people were surprised to see their cats wiggle their way inside their suitcases in the most unexpected ways. In another video, Lauren, who goes by @theless.weknow on TikTok, shared how she checked each compartment of her suitcase before shutting it down. The moment Lauren lifted the upper portion of her suitcase, she found her white and gray cat hiding underneath it. The cat also tried to climb her way further up to stay hidden.

The cat didn't get out of the bag even after Lauren saw her, perhaps hoping that she would get to come along as well. "This is me not becoming the lady who ends up packing her cat in a suitcase," the text overlay of the video read. She also shared an important travel tip through the caption. "Travel tip! If your suitcase is moving, do not proceed to close it." The clip received over 311,500 views. In yet another video, Sinis, who goes by @cattok886 on TikTok, shared her cat's trick to try and stop her from leaving the cat at home. The orange cat sat in the middle of all the clothes packed in the suitcase, along with her stuffed toy.

"My cat packed herself and her favorite toy in my suitcase," the text overlay of the video read. The video received over 40.2 million views. In the comments, many people shared how it was a universal experience. @playdohofficial wrote, "No, you must take her. Sorry, we don't make the rules." @tildechp commented, "My dog packed himself right before I left for Greece. The last photo I took of him was of him in my suitcase. He passed away while I was on vacation." @vivienne01 remarked, "Stop! When I was moving, my cat threw her toys in my packing boxes."
